    league will not shorten the season. too much money involved.

    nba needs to implement a rule, if you're under 32, no resting period. the reason why pop started resting players was because his players are ancient. nowadays, players in their 20's are getting days off. that's just unacceptable.

    You shouldn't be able to rest guys until you have clinched a playoff series. On the other hand, shutting healthy guys down for the last week or 2 of the season on lottery teams should result in fines.

    Nba is GOing to get rid of some preseason games and go to 80 game reg season. Then to make up for the lost 2 games they will make the nba finals a best of 19

    They play half the season that baseball does. If anything, the NBA should have 1 period (not 4 quarters), and it be 20 minutes long; except in the playoffs, where there are 2 20 minute periods.

    Today is the anniversary of when the Golden State Warriors won the 1975 NBA championship. The NBA Finals are not even scheduled to start until June 4th. The season and/or playoffs are too long.
