    After one day, it's obvious the Mariners will win the AL West

    Angels won't be able to cut it. It's a two player show. Weaver looked awful, the league has caught up to him. The Angels pitching won't be able to cut it.

    A's may give Seattle a run, but they don't have the offense.

    Ranger's pitching is awful.

    Astros will be better, but not there yet.

    I really believe Seattle runs away with home field in the American League this year. The question is whether they will do better than the team that won 116 games when the playoffs come around.
