Cards still class of the division and you can get +120 thanks to the Cubs hype
Love the Heyward pick up and expect to see old Wacha back to a solid rotation.
Pitt back end of rotation a little weak and loss of Martin will hurt . Solid otherwise.
    Cubs maybe a year away.
Brewers and Reds 85 tops if everything goes right but Reds could be looking to trade Cueto if they are struggling at break.

Those are great odds on the Cardinals, but they don't have a player as good as mccutchins and the Pirates have started picking up good players when they are in a playoff push.

you need to bank on Lind being a huge upgrade at 1st - Scooter being able to play 162 - Segura to have a monster bouneback - ARam to continue to hit close to career numbers in his final season at 39 years old - Braun and CarGo to be close to their MVP form and Davis continue to progress - and that's just the field.

Their staff is trending majorly downward with not much to call upon in case of injuries or poor performance. Unless Nelson finds a 3rd pitch he isn't that guy either. Love the Brewers more than any other team in any other sport, I just don't love them this year.

Probably means I will take a future on them to win the division since I am counting them out, haaaa

Just do not love that staff - plenty of potential in that lineup but as of now - isn't it just potential - they strike out A LOT.

i admire him as a player. I think he is the best catcher in MLB.

However the Cardinals bench has been significantly weakened. The loss of Delcalso is a bigger deal than most may think. He is a clutch player and very valuable off the bench.

Cardinals also have a great manager. They will compete for a playoff spot no doubt.

I do. Kyle Hendricks might be the ace, BTW. Hammel is good for the Cubs. Lester is Lester and Arietta has some of the best stuff around. Wood will bounce back and is more than serviceable at 5. Best rotation in the division.

Travis Wood is garbage. Maybe someone else can take his spot.

Maybe Wada when he gets back from injury?

Havent heard anything about James McDonald ... hows he doing?

I think McDonald is gone. Wada is possible. But I disagree on Wood. Is he an ace? No. But he's better than he showed last season. The season before he was an all-star. He's not that guy either. He's somewhere in the middle. He's a .500 pitcher, probably low to mid-4's ERA. More than adequate for the 5th spot. Certainly possible he'd be replaced at some point, perhaps in a trade down the road. He's also a really good hitter and a gamer.

Reds line-up pretty highly ranked on there.

Nationals may struggle out of the gate with all those injuries.

Pirates will win this division with that nasty ass line up my goodness they have no weakness 1-8 is solid and the pitching isn't what it used to be but neither is anyone else's in that division so it won't bite em in the ass this season

Lol yea right bear talk to me when they lose start losing starting pitching until they lose at least 3 starters they're no where near struggling. Nats have 6 stud 1-2 pitchers there's no 3/4s on that staff they are all aces to be honest

Cardinals by a couple of games, but may get three teams in playoffs with the Pirates and CUBS as wild cards.

The Nationals not having Werth and Rendon is a pretty significant blow to that offense which is not the teams strength anyway.

Mets could pull off an upset on opening day

As far as the Pirates i am leaning towards taking them both monday and tuesday i have been very impressed with Liriano and Cole this spring. Both of those pitchers are in mid season form.

They'll be fine with harper and zimmerman knocking in runs and like i said when your pitching is that damn good you dont need alot of offense
