    Wisconsin is in trouble

    I want to start this by saying that I was very high on this team all year last season and they made a run to the Final Four and were one play from reaching the Championship. I've been high on them this year as well but I think we're starting to see some kinks in the armor.

    North Carolina is peaking at the right time. They have the bigs to beat up Wisconsin's frontcourt. Both teams like to play uptempo but UNC has the ability to outrebound the Badgers - something that rarely happens against this Wisconsin team. If UNC wins the battle of the boards, they can get out in transition and more importantly get those putbacks that Wisky never seems to give up.

    The great thing about Wisconsin is that they have long versatile players who can beat you from the perimeter. It's a lot harder to get those looks against a big team like North Carolina though.

    Wisconsin is on upset alert folks. Leaning heavily toward The Tar Heels +6 and ML.

    horrible matchup for North Carolina, especially without Meeks. Wisconsin is better in every which way outside of the offensive glass

    Wisconsin can shoot treys from every position on the court. UNC can barely shoot treys from one position.

    No Meeks = playing without their best / biggest inside presence.

    Take away the baby blue on their jerseys and namesake and you wouldn't think this at all. Wisconsin is the much better team and could win by double digits.

    Its a bad matchup for Carolina who thrives on tempo, dont think they will be able to run on Wisky nor do I think they will be able to speed them up too much. Still if Im Carolina Im banging the ball down low just about every possession, get some of Wisky's bigs in foul trouble, if youre Carolina, pray for an off day from the Badgers, hope their not hitting the 3's for whatever reason, be physical, physical, physical, not like Wisky cant be beat but the Heels need help from Wisky imo.

    Wisconsin wins by 8-11. NC isn't anything special. They looked decent versus Arkansas because defense is an afterthought down there. Wisconsin takes care of the ball so NC wont be running much.

    I think taking points is the smart move, have to look more into it. Meeks sitting does hurt, but probably gets you an extra point on the spread.

    Meeks is replaceable, they have a ton of depth up front. Obviously there is no one else as good as Meeks, but they'll make it work. The only guy who is irreplaceable on the Heels is Paige.

    Meeks is a big body but his post moves will make you cringe. Dude bricks it from four feet more than anyone I've ever seen. Hicks is a much better scorer and way more aggresive. Hicks was a much higher rated recruit too, it just took him a lot longer to find his game at this level than Meeks.

    I hate to lose Meeks because we need the depth and Hicks is foul prone too, but most Tar Heel fans have no problem with more minutes for Hicks who has a much higher upside, and we need players with upside to step up to keep winning at this point.
