    I don't think he can be called "terrible" as a pro. Terrible players don't generally stick around for 13 seasons. Not Hall of Fame caliber, but miles above "terrible".

    The Laettner commercial for State Farm or whatever it was with Dr.J and some others for March Madness is hilarious. Him sitting in a hammock made of laurels ..


    Whether you hate Laettner or not, that Kentucky game was one of the greatest individual performances by a player and of course probably one of the top 3 clutch shots in history.

    10/10 from the floor. 10/10 from the line. I can still remember that shot. Chillz every time.

    Most people don't realize how good Leattner was as a college player. A match up nightmare. Dominant with both hands, could post up and shoot the three. Good rebounder. Could take a big man outside then take him all the way to the hoop. Just a great all around player

    One of the greatest college basketball games of all time. I still have it on VHS, along with UNLV revenge game.
