    I gamble in moderation, and I do Labouchere style betting, which is smaller bets and too boring for most people. So it doesn't really affect me negatively at all. Almost no anxiety comes from it, and I'm pretty healthy.

    It does keep me on top of sports and wagering, which is a good skillset to have when talking to everyday people in Vegas. And it makes me interested in games I'd usually never give a shit about. So I'd say overall positive.

    gambling was the best thing that's ever happened to me. i was someone who didn't put very much thought into things. that all changed after poker. really changed after chess and football.

    i credit gambling with spurring my intellectual revolution. of course, there is a dark-side but i've been able to balance that. gambling has given me freedom.
