Who do you guys think might draft WR Devin Smith?

I think this guy is going to be a superstar right off the bat.

He is so damn fast he almost impossible to guard.

    Great hands too.

    Maybe the Lions?

    Maybe the Panthers?

Maybe the Ravens? They could potentially have 3 WR name Smith.

He is really good...hate Ohio State but he's so athletic and smooth...could be an Antonio Brown type player

I am surprised wide receivers don't go earlier but I guess there's so many of them not in a big demand

If I had a choice without a franchise QB, I would love to take a chance on a WR like this kid rather than dump everything I had on Winston or Mariota. If I was the Jets I would do everything in my power to grab a great talent like this kid.

yeah, Patriots at the end of the first seem like a good fit. But he might slip into the second. Because there are at least 4 receivers, who should be off the board before him.

David Boston is the best WR to play at Ohio State. Followed by Carter.

In that case, they would need somebody to throw it downfield as well

    you are insane.

Maybe if the QB is Tom Brady or Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers..

Fact of the matter is QB's like Matthew Stafford , Cam Newton, and Joe Flacco need really good WR's and playmakers around them.

Ohio State won the National Title with the 3rd string QB

even Cardale Jones said before the Alabama game..

He goes "Am I nervous? nah man I dont think it's possible to be nervous when you got these type of playmakers on this team"

I'm not a Smith fan, but I'm sure he can throw the ball 50+ yards.

I was joking, using that public perception that he can't throw it deep. I actualy think he is underrated QB.

Cooper, White, Parker, Strong and others all rank higher than this kid does. The ONLY hope he has at a first round call is with Kansas City, and that is a big longshot. I have seen him going in the seond round to Houston (#51), or to Carolina (#57). There are just too many WR who are better than he is in front of him. He probably is the #7 or 8 receiver in this class.

How much money do you want to put on that? Name your price. How about the loser disappearing from the NFL thread for the entire 2015 season? If you are really dumb enough to think that the Panthers are going to waste their #1 pick on this clown instead of drafting an OT, something they desperately need, you should be thrown out of here for stupidity reasons, if nothing else. So Bear, you ignorant big mouth, put your money where your mouth is. I say that Caroliona takes an OT in the first round. You say that they take this joke of a WR. If neither happens, the wager is a push. If Carolina takes your WR, I'm gone. If arolina takes an OT, you are gone, and you WILL stay gone, one way or the other. Capish?

Good call. Didn't have to do anything to get him.
Geno (or Fitz) now has all the weapons he can ask for.
Now what he does with them is another story.
