in retrospect that loss by tyson to douglas was the tail end of his prime. at the time he was in his goddamn prime, no one at all saw that coming. i've even heard that vegas was having a hard time taking bets on buster as a huge dog.

I thought there was only one(or a very few places) that even took bets for that fight?

I still blame Robin Givens for Tyson's demise. Along with the leeches he surrounded himself with.

it's possible, i know only what i've heard. i was like 9 when that fight took place. tyson was like 6 to 1 or 7 to 1, but no one was taking douglas. it also could be that no one had a line up anyway haha

I think I was like 16. I vaguely remember hearing about the odds on espn back then, but I only remember hearing one place took bets. It was a long time ago. I am probably wrong.

it does sound silly to compare her to mike, and you can say what you want about the women's game, but no one in fighting that i'm aware of has had this kind of a dominant run where they just destroy their opponents in seconds like either tyson or rousey have had.

A 14 second loss is better than a gut wrenching, ass stretching back door cover.

Better to be able to laugh these off.

    As expected.

Wmma pretty much sucks. Full of soup cans besides Ronda and Cyborg.
The rest are just there because.

Other than maybe Cyborg and possibly Holm if she lands a headkick....no gitl can just KO change a fight. Ronda can walk threw a couple shots by any of these girls in order to find a clinch then it is over. If she wants to close the distance and grab you...she will. Cat just decided to do it for her this time.

Holm plays too much outside bouncd around. The only one who may be able to ward off Ronds and her ground game is Cyborg. And she may not even be able to make 135.

Do not bet against Ronda any time soon. Unless it is Cyborg and the odds are decent.

At 135lb I would set Ronda at -300 vs Cyborg.

    At a catch maybe -200.

    At 145, Cyborgs normal weight...-150
