your supposed to fade Zags when they're giving big numbers like 18 they never cover them. or take zags at half for a better number they never cover till late

I'm gonna be honest, I thought Zags were going down after watching the 1st half. That small ass gym had me like whoa! Way to battle back though in that tough environment!

Once Gonzaga threw the full court press at them they were like a deer in headlights. Zags with too much depth and athletism.

I feel bad for Mary's backers because that was the perfect spot, setup and they were on position for upset. Although I don't feel too bad because it worked out for me. Surprisingly I had confidence throughout, but usually I would've thought I was doomed the way that game was playing out.

SMC came out and hit 7-10 3pointers and seemingly couldn't miss. The way Gonzaga battled back and won says a lot about this team. Not many teams in the country could have shot like SMC in the 1H and zags rolled with the punches. Idk who can beat Zaga to be honest. Size to hang with anybody - 7'1", and two 6'10" Forwards who score incredibly efficiently. Experienced backcourt who can slang 3s. So many ways to score. They shoot FTs well and rebound well.

I really liked seeing that full court pressure last night. If they can bring that into the tourny that's huge.

Many teams shave points at halftime to pay for players expenses. There were many suspicious games the last two weeks were a big favorite will be losing big at halftime only to blow the other team out in 2nd half. This rarely happens in pro sports but in college basketball is rampant.

I don't think it's a fix. A LOT of "better" teams are covering lately after being down the first half. Squares are making a killing right now. I think it's a setup for the big give back killing come tourney time.

It happens because the underdog team is fired up, plays their best 1H and runs out of gas, then the better team adjusts and win.
Shaving almost never happens these days...

It's much easier to fix the first half to pay players and still win the game for NCAA tourney purposes. Coaches know if they don't pay the kids under the table they will have troubles recruiting.
