Sixer's over 92 Team Points tonight

    I can't believe the number is 92.
Sixers, at home, against Denver, who is one of the worst defending teams out there.

Column on the right is points allowed per 100 possessions.

    Hollinger Stats - Defensive Efficiency
RK TEAM PACE AST TO ORR DRR REBR EFF FG% TS% OFF EFF DEF EFF
    1 Minnesota 97.5 16.6 13.7 27.5 72.6 48.8 46.4 50.9 98.8 109.5
    2 LA Lakers 97 15.7 12 25.1 74.7 49.1 47.3 51.6 101.4 107.9
    3 New York 92.8 17.1 14 25.2 72.1 48.2 48.4 51.7 99 107.4
    4 Utah 92.9 16.2 14.6 28.7 75.7 52.3 49.6 53.6 102.9 106.1
    5 Orlando 96.2 16.2 14.2 21 76.6 48.3 49.7 52.9 99.4 105.9
    6 Sacramento 97.3 15 15 27.4 76.1 52.8 48.7 54.3 102.7 105.8
    7 New Orleans 94.1 16.6 12.1 28.4 75.7 51.9 49.6 53.5 106.1 105.1
    Denver 98.4 16.2 12.8 26.6 75.7 50.5 47.6 51.6 101.2 105.1

Denver gives up a boatload of points to the bigs (forwards and center)
Look for Noel to have a big game, maybe even Grant.

On the average Philly only scores around 91, however they face a very poor defending team that gives up over 100 a night.

Look at Denver's last 11 games, 10 of them they have given up 97 or more, 8 of them have been 100+.

Even Philly can crack 92 tonight.

I know, it's Philly, so tail at your own risk.

Philly over 92 points tonight 3*

Pinny holding at 91. Gonna be close either way. Good luck. And glad to see you back to writeups....it's what you do best! (No more of that overconfident "free money" nonsense from the Super Bowl under. It's for the birds)

If CW is out could be like 97-89 game for Denver, dunno.

If he's in I'm playing Philly spread for sure.

But the line suggests he will sit as of now.

UPDATE: Carter-Williams left Monday's loss at Cleveland due to a right shin contusion and sprained left ankle, which kept him out of the remainder of the contest, the Sixers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS: Carter-Williams didn't take the court after the 7:31 mark in the third quarter, spurring speculation that coach Brett Brown pulled him from the contest. However, injuries were the culprit, which kept his production -- two points (1-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), five assists, four rebounds, and one steal in 20 minutes -- in check. The Sixers' take the floor Tuesday as well, for which he'll likely be considered questionable

Yep, I'd rather be in downtown Beirut.

Actually there are some really good sports bar on and just off of Broad Street when I used to go to the old Vet from time to time, that was back in the day, Boston is closer to me now than Philly

Noel can't score... He has no post moves. What's he gonna score on faried? 10?

With MCW out, Philly pace will slow way down. I hope you hit it, but I'm not sure I'd play this.

Not to mention 4 games in 5 days for Philly. I wouldn't expect much in the way of transition scoring. You'll be basically hoping Philly can hit shots. Which.... well... they can't.

I'll take them with the +7.5, they'll run and they can defend inside. Missed the +8.5 but 7.5 will have to do.

    February 03rd 5:31pm EDT

UPDATE: Carter-Williams (leg) will play in Tuesday's game, but the Sixers will monitor his minutes, the Bucks County Courier Times' Tom Moore reports.
ANALYSIS: He left Monday's game with a right shin contusion and sprained left ankle, so it is a bit impressive that he is going to play the very next night. It would seem unlikely that he will see his full compliment of minutes, however, so it would be wise to avoid him in daily leagues.

I think Nurkic draws the assignment not Faried.

6 for 9 from 3 point land, I expected maybe 100 out of Philly, did not expect this, lot of time though, cautiously optimistic.
+8 looks like stealing from where I sit, but there's that dreaded 2nd half still, hope Philly doesn't run out of steam is my only, only concern.
