    Bears vs colts . Colts -6.5 / 47.5

    I was watching old superbowls just now (manning fan and I was only 12 when this Super Bowl took place) . In the 4th q with 1 min left to play the colts were up 29-17 (46) and it was 4th and 6 on the Bears 20~ yard line and they decided to run it rather than kick the field goal... ***(Make the total go over too)***

    At the time did this make sense? Diff era football or whatever.. Just seemed crazy to me that they would rather be up 12 and bears ball on their own 18 after the run than up 15 kicking off... Weird..

    15 was still two possession game. I can also understand coaches being reluctant to punt or attempt field goals unless they have to, so easy to get it blocked and returned for a score.
