Harden is unstoppable right now. Most NBA fans are stupid. Dallas is overrated.

Detroit on a tear since dumping Smith, facing Atlanta tonight in the Motor City. Should be interesting...ATL-3 at the moment

Jimmy butler did a decent job guarding him this week. Keeping Ibaka over harden was a huge mistake

I wouldn't put any eastern team on the list as none can beat the top 5 western team in a 7 series game.

    Hawks
    Warriors
    Blazers
    Mavs
    Bulls

But it all means nothing. The important things is who will be the best in 3 or 4 months.

Dallas is 1-8 versus the top teams in the West. This is why most of you guys with Dallas listed are broke dik losers. Do work and stop listening to fat ass Charles Barkley. This thread is filled with "Joe Public" just throwing darts.

So much anger in this post. You are obviously just another Rockets fan who hates Dallas. It's kind of funny how you accuse people of being biased against Houston when you have obvious bias against Dallas.

This is a thread about who are the best teams in the league "right now". Why would anyone put the Rockets there when they've been average at best lately especially since getting Josh Smith?

The Mavs as long as that German dude is around have nothing to prove against good teams. In the championship year in 2011 they had lost to like 8 or 9 straight playoff teams until beating New Orleans on the final day of the regular season. That sure meant a lot, right? Houston, on the other hand, has EVERYTHING to prove. Both Harden and Howard are losers until proven otherwise. Now I have noticed major improvements with Harden this year - but this still needs to be shown on the big stage.

I'm fine with taking the Mavs out if you can name another team that's been playing better lately. Who though? Memphis has struggled lately. The Spurs have been struggling for about a month. The Thunder have hit a bit of a rough patch (but they're about to go off, the Thunder will be at the top of everyone's list of hot teams in 2 or 3 weeks). The Suns and Clippers have been up and down.

A team from the East? I have no problem with putting the Pistons in there. Toronto and Washington have not been playing great lately though, even if you have to cut them some slack with tough trips out West.

I gotta put Memphis over Chicago. I know the Grizz have regressed a bit but the Bulls haven't impressed me much at all this year.

Bulls had won 13 of 15 when I posted this I think. I was just putting the hot teams out there, there wasn't much thought into my post about who I actually think is legit. I'm taking the Grizzlies very seriously in the playoffs this year.

All I know is the Bulls are a fukking embarassment with all those awful home losses, getting blown out of their own building by teams like the Jazz, Magic, Nets, Celtics, Pacers... They should already have this stupid division wrapped up. Idiots are driving me crazy.

You can spin things the way you want. I could careless about Dallas but you can't be 1-8 versus the top teams in the West and be in the top 5. The Nazi is on his death bed and you paid $16 million for Parsons. Good chance Dallas finishes in the 8th seed. Do work and stop throwing darts.
