    I took the Seahawks because I figured there was no way Carolina scored more than 6 or 7 points. I figured Seattle would win 24-3, 27-6, 30-7, something like that. I came reasonably close to predicting Seattle's score but was way off on Carolina.

    Still, a winner's a winner so I ain't complaining.

    iT WAS 31-10, Seattle totally dogged the D on Carolina's last possession for that garbage TD to get to 17. When have you seen the Seahawks tank a D series like that? The Seahawks also could have scored on their last possession if they wanted to. The Newton /Panther turnovers were part of the expectation. Thats just one of the reasons I and many others had NO PROBLEM laying the points.

    Hey we won, but it wasn't as clear cut and easy as you're making it out to be. Seattle bettors were losing for most of the game and then when the Seahawks finally took a 14 point lead, Carolina marched the ball down quite easily into the Seattle red zone. It was the pick-6 that sealed the game, but if that 1 single play was different, Seattle still wins but probably not cover.

    Youre right, we were very fortunate that Newton did exactly what we expected him to do a couple of times in that game. To me, doesnt matter when, just that he did.
