Yep, basically DET/GB game is just playing for home field in the rematch the following week.

I could easily see Arizona winning rematch when it matters most, and Cardinals would certainly be favored on the road.

We'll have plenty of time to discuss in the weeks ahead. Records aside, if ATL gets in, they'll be a tough out at home.

No, winner gets a bye, loser goes to Dallas following week.

Arizona is not beating the Falcons. Would love to get Falcons +7.5 like previous game. In fact if you give me Falcons +7.5 right now I will book it through you.

Doesn't change the fact that Arizona will be favored though.

How convenient you left out the two victories against kc and St. Louis that you said they wouldn't get.

Whoever wins is guaranteed bye, Dallas is locked in at 3 it looks like. Both Green Bay and Detroit have better conference records than Dallas.

It's because the first game between them was a shootout and people like to watch lots of points scored.

So Carolina/Atlanta is staying at 1:00 ET, Detroit/Green Bay flexed to 4:25 ET. CBS still COULD move a game to 4:25, as the only game it has in that slot now is Oakland/Denver. Maybe Buffalo/New England? That way New England and Denver would be playing at same time in battle for one-seed.

Bengals suck balls in Prime Time. B2B Bengals laying an egg will be fun to watch?

This is the most likely course of action, assuming that Seattle beats Rams next week and maintains #1 seed. Pack would get the #2 seed, assuming they beat Lions. That sends Zona to ATL.

Everyone is talking about the Falcons offense when in reality, it was the Falcons offense that bogged down yesterday and couldn't close it out in the 4th qtr. In fact it was Atlanta's defense that played lights out. They pressured Brees all day, at least 10x hits, 5 sacks a 2x picks and 2x fumbles. Over the last 10 quarters the run defense has been stout. Starting with the 2nd half of the Packer game, they shut down Lacey and Starks. Leveon Bell only managed 47 yards and Mark Ingram had 38.

JJ - you may be on to something with Atlanta but dont sleep on the Defense. They are definitely not the 32nd ranked D anymore. Jonathon Stewart should have tough treading in ATL next week and that means that Cam is going to have to get it done with his arm. I like the Falcons chances.

I remember a few years back when the Colts won the SB, how bad the defense played all year and then all of sudden they went ape shit the last 4 games of the season and into the playoffs.

The Lions are the luckiest team in the NFL this year. Every time I look they are snatching victory from the jaws of defeat in the last 2 minutes. No way they pull this out in GB.
