General question about Sportsbookspy and other consensus sites
Does sportsbookspy inform you of the amount of wagers on a side or of the amount of MONEY on a side? Is it percentage of wagers placed or percentage of money? What are the best consensus sites that display the dollar value wagered? What is the best site to get a feel for where the public is siding and where the largest amount of potential "sharp money" is? I appreciate any information on researching where the money is. I am a newer data collector looking for some of the most informative stat sites other than your covers research. Thank you guys and I am sorry if this is a redundant thread or topic but if anybody can shoot me a PM or school me here. Thank you again!!
You can get it through SBR odds by placing your mouse on Opener. Vegas Insider also provides some numbers based on Sportsbook.com numbers in the matchups section. I've tracked performance of sharp money moves based on these numbers and they've hit at 54% over the past two football seasons. I think the numbers are pretty valid although many will doubt them.
