    Florida State now +9.5 ??? are you kidding me ???

    mariota will win the heisman this sat. do you know why heisman trophy winners historically perform so poorly in the bowl game?

    - they are being paraded around everywhere and doing the interview circuit. they get distracted from what's important - the game

    - the opposing team gets sick and tired of hearing about the heisman winner and how great he is so they bust their ass game planning and get sky high motivated for the matchup

    Florida St has great athletes and this 4 week layoff is exactly what they need to get all pieces together

    Oregon was peaking so this 4 week layoff is THE WORST thing that could have happened for them


    FLORIDA STATE +9.5 all freaking day in a game they will be in until the last few mins and might even win straight up

    Seminoles spent an entire season squeeking by. Those athletes didnt do much to change that fact. +9.5 seems correct

    fwiw, you can get 10 at bm/cris for an extra nickel ... not bad considering the money fsu backers have lost betting them all season

    I'm thinking I don't want to touch this one, but if you had a gun to my head...I'd lean Oregon -9.5. I just don't know if FSU can score at will like the ducks can. I don't know if they can keep up with their pace of play, and I don't think FSU's receiving core and general players are big and physical enough to really push them around and tire them out. (bully them around).

    too many unknowns make this a DNT for me. I'll sure be watching it though......I might take the ducks..small.

    A guy that hasn't lost a game in his career is playing. Their defense may be terrible, but oregon is far from a good defense.
    I'm not going to put money against Winston not keeping this game close. Hate the guy, but how do you lay 9.5 points.
    The freshman rb,cook, is going to be a star. Going to ne a big problem for oregon.

    2 yrs ago; herbstreet said that the backups on fla st could beat most teams. I really believe jameis has been playing with the lines all yr. All I know is that a kid i know who starts for mich was on north armour bowl. (not sure spelling) IT IS the high school game that all the bigtime kids go to.The south was loaded and it seemed like every kid was going to fla st. I believe that fla st can win the game out right.Hell mich st with no speed was in the game for 3 quarters. Fla st is going back to back .

    Actually-- if you look at the last 4 Heisman winners..... Newton, Griffin, Manziel, Winston---- all played incredible in their bowl games.

    Line will end at Fla St +6* no weaker. Early on Fla St didn't look so good but now they have a super running back in D. Cook he'll make a big difference, he's twice the runner Williams was. D. Cook & Winston will bring the Championship to
    Tallahassee again. I got them at +1040 to win it all, at that price it's stupid not to.
