I bet only selectively - long time ago [ 30 years ] when I first came to Vegas friend of mine [ old time sport gambler ] taught me a lesson - Jerry NEVER PLAY anything but sport , never chase ur money if u lost that day , there be another day and another game , bet only what u can afford to lose and measure ur success on weekly basis and not on one day performance and one more think that he sad to me that echoes in my had - Jerry this sport betting of ours is a marathon and NOT a sprint with selective picks with out of feelings for the team - ur favorite team should be only the one that made u money and tomorrow u have a new favor - and I still can hear him talk to me even tho he is long gone - died . Hi Jerry, sorry I couldn't get back to this post a few days ago. My kids keep me busy & the hours turn into days, lol.. Life is good though sir, sunny here in Houston, I get to be on the court all day long & hang with my kids afterwards, life IS good Thanks for getting back to me, I didn't expect such a nice response. I know it's been awhile, but sorry about your friend, I think that is cool that you can still hear him today. Sounds like he taught you a thing or two about a thing or two.... I know I still hear my best buds voice still today, he passed 10 years ago - "dmoney" I could not agree with you more on the sports betting. You seem to display a very disciplined style of betting, and that is probably the smartest thing we can do as bettors.. You have helped me make a few big plays with your selections and I thank you so much. And your English is very good, I hope no one gives you a hard time..

One of the things I do agree with you with is measuring your success on a "weekly" basis, not daily. I think that is where a lot of people get too caught up and end up chasing too much.. There IS always the next day and there IS always another game to look at the next day. When I finally learned this awhile ago, gambling took on a different persona for me. And I started to actually get payouts, how about that huh?? I'm glad you do enjoy your Budweiser's, I will stick to my late night chronic, lol.. I have never been to Vegas in my life, go figure - lol, but would love to take my girlfriend at some point soon maybe. Oh, I forgot, thanks for the Lakers pick last night, it helped me get back to even after I was down around 200 on a crappy night of college bball. I NEVER would of even looked at NBA or the Lakers especially if you didn't post something. Knowing it is the LAL, I had to buy points off the line just to be safe. I had no idea it was gonna hit a winner for me bec of that, but I only played it bec you posted it & it helped me for sure. Thanks Jerry, I was on the MOON last night sir!!!!!!
