    Profitable info

Anyone knows with 100% certainty a service or individual who constantly makes profit by betting?
I read on this forum that 97% of bettors loose money, but the other 3% are only luck or is there a system?
    Thanks

Short answer is Yes...There are services/people out there that can make a profit betting. But it also depends on what you consider profit and the timeframe you're looking to make it. Seem like a lot of people have unrealistic expectations when it comes to both.

Also, don't read too much into statistics, it a fact that 87.2% of statistics are made up.

The timeframe should be some monthly average over one year. Profit margin of 5-10% monthly is my target.

good point about the stats, BUT we must believe in something )

5-10% is a realistic expectation, however if you don't handicap your own games and are seriously considering using a service, my advise to you would be to just pick carefully. Do ALOT of research and take into consideration past records. While past records don't necessarily indicate future results, you'll get a better picture of what the service is capable of so you can manage expectations. If they have no records, or won't give them up, I would stay away.

Also, don't listen to too much about what people here have to say regarding a particular service/handicapper. What is good for some, isn't necessarily a good fit for another. A lot of it also has to do with betting style. You have to find one that fits yours. Some release 1 play a day, other release 3, guys like Robert Ferringo release 30. It all depends on what your preference is, but remember the more games played, the more juice that is paid and the higher potential for losses which can potentially eat into your profits.

Also not sure what you are betting with, online, local etc. But if it's online, I would highly recommend signing up with a book that offers Reduced Juice. Over the longterm, it really adds up, especially for an everyday player. Most people don't truly realize how much, but it's a significant amount.

One good info from me ! If you follow an handicapper you should also filter his plays according to stake. For me Ben Burns is the best for NHL NBA MLB and NFL if only you play his 10 ratings. You can make 10% ROI nearly every month. But if you play his all plays with flat stake probably you lose money.

Juice is basically the price you pay for placing a wager. Think of it like a tax.

Most wagers are placed with a -110 line. Depending on where you place your bet, juice works one of two ways. If you bet with a local, a loss on a $100 will actually cost you $110. If you bet with an online book, a win will only net you a profit of $90.91.

With a Reduced Juice line, say -105 or -103, the profits on a win jump to $95.24 & $97.09 respectively. As you can see that is an increase $4.33 & $6.18 which is pretty significant in the long run. Reduced Juice is typically only offered by specific sportsbooks online, but it is essential for the everyday bettor.

For example, lets say you manage to win 55% of your games for a full year (201 "wins"), wagering just 1 game a day. If you were to play every game at -110 odds you would have made $18,272.91 over the course of a year wagering $100.00 per game. Taking into account for the losses ($16,400) and you would net a profit of $1,872.91.

Now, if you were to have placed those same bets at the Reduced Juice line of -105. Your overall profit would have jumped from $1,872.91 to $2743.24 making a difference of $870.33 just by getting better odds. Make sense?

    Rules:

    1. Find 3 contestants with 5 wins in a row

    2. The 3 players cannot have more than 5 previous wins in a row. This is key. If they previously had a streak of 6 or 8 or 10 then they are DQ'd.

    3. Fade all 3.

    4. Repeat the next day with 3 new players in the streak contest.

    5. Repeat and enjoy the tax free cashola while smoking dankola
