Good point from JJ. Rutgers lost recent against strong opponents. But here, Indiana has injured QB, Rutgers has home field. Could be close but I can't see Hoosiers winning.

The problem with taking Rutgers is that they can't stop the run, which happens to be Indiana's strong suit (running the football). On top of that, you're laying a touchdown. I already took Indiana when they were +8 for a standard one unit play... nothing crazy.

Rutgers. They were 5-1 (3 pt loss to Penn St) before drawing Ohio St, Nebraska, and Wisconsin in consecutive weeks. That'll ruin your rush D stats. Indiana's Tevin Coleman is a quality RB, but Rutgers can key on him with Indiana's QB situation in shambles (injuries thru 3rd string).

Rutgers is home, off a much needed bye, and needs this one for bowl eligibility. If they shut down Coleman - and they've had plenty of time to plan for it - Indiana will be in huge trouble. Rutgers beat Navy away, stomped Tulane, and edged Michigan in straight weeks before their murderer's row stretch. They outgunned Washington State w/ Halliday 41-38 on neutral turf in their opener.

I don't think 7 or 8's nearly enough. Rutgers home/off bye/need it vs Indiana QB woes make for a great spot to pound Rutgers at the current number.
