    Anyone familiar with Marc Lawrence?

Bought the fantasy sports package on cable last month, great package by the way, not just for fantasy sports too, and Marc Lawrence is on.

Long story short, his record is good, he knows what he talks about, but he's absolutely in love with two dogs Saturday, Kentucky +14 at home, Lawrence thinks Wildcats might even steal an upset win, and he thinks the Cal Bears at home is a very live dog against the Ducks for a lot of reasons.

I love home dogs, but I also know can you really trust some of these talking heads too?

Buying picks is the best way to go. Those guys have to know their stuff, or else why sell them

Someone I could trust on the matter used to work in Vegas at a tout service told me none of them ever get above 48% at seasons end. Some are better than others no doubt but never underestimate the greed and manipulation of sports bettors. So much shit goes on to fukk with your day and get you off your game you really can't imagine. I like the CAL pick tho.

I bought the TV package, that's the new wave.
Well podcasts are really going to take off and will really be the new wave.

I'm going to tail those two plays.
Not blindly, I looked at them, looks good

    He's got a show there.
Yeah he's cocky and arrogant, but he owns it.

If your content carrier offers this station, buy it.

What cable system do you have, Nash?

I've got DirecTV, but I don't think this is available on there. I've never even heard of it.

Marc is a capper who relies heavily on his database for his selections. Most of his plays are dogs. Walked into him at a casino in S Fla. about three years ago and he seemed surprised I recognized him. Nice guy. Spoke with him a while and he introduced me to his wife and son. Some of you might remember his son as the Cincinnati Kid. He was also in the business but don't think he is anymore. Victor King of King Creole sports was also with them. Nice guy also who is still in the business.

Yeah, he (Lawrence) had a 20 minute spot on FNTSY network.
His analysis was top heavy on database, what made me pay attention is I am database guy too, so I connected with him in a second.

He has a weekly podcast with Victor King if you're into that stuff. Google against the spread with his name.

I don't pay for picks, I do pay for information, and the information I have gotten from this station has been very good.
I use SQL excel, I know where and how to mine for data, but I like to go outside too.

He's been in the business a long time because he's never had a REALLY bad season and he can talk sportsbetting intelligently. Same with Teddy Covers, Steele, etc. Still a very small chance of making money with him.

Like anyone else, make sure they document their picks and you can see them. I can't understand giving money to anyone that doesn't do that. If not, shit, just give it to me then. I'm 66% in my last 3 NCAAF bets. And I have a "big winner" to be released tonight!!

    Very solid info IMO.

I use it to formulate my own opinion.

Followed him for last 15 years at least.

Not to say that you chase all his picks but his database info is great.

I am a dog guy so he is right in my wheel house.

Never chases, doubles up, or does the all in nonsense.

    Just pure weekly capping.

Believe Marc still does but Phil doesn't. Both legit good guys but always have numerous categories best bets, underdog, over under, game of week, and so on and brag on whatever one is doing best. Marc does have some good technical data but most of it can be researched for free on your own. Most of the trends are useless when you get down to brass tax.

The Bengals are 14-3 as a home favorite of less than 4 when facing a division rival that won its last game by more than a TD but lost it's previous game to another division rival who was two weeks away from a bye in the schedule.

You still want to pay for Mark Lawrence's picks? Don't waste your children's college money on this nonsense.

He's like Root. Find a big conference match-up and take the dog. There's no need to handicap. Just take LSU +3- this week against Ol' Miss, Texas Tech plus a boatload against TCU, Penn State at home against Ohio State, blah blah blah. Call it your conference Zillionaire Play of the Decade and pretend you have an army of deep-pocketed gamblers who follow your every word. You'll hit some of these picks, some might even be outright upsets, then send newsletters out claiming you recommended taking the generous odds on the money line. Next thing you know "Vegas shakes in their boots" with every release you make.

Hah. Not only would I not pay for their picks, I would gladly book their wagers.
