    Texas Rangers hire Jeff Banister as new Manager

    Don't know much about the guy. He's been the Pirates bench coach for the past few years. Little bit of a surprising hire, but then again, so was Wash. And that turned out pretty good.

    Hopefully he'll do some of the things that Hurdle is doing there here with Texas. That organization is clearly doing things right.
