certainly looked rigged. BP fastball right down the middle on 1st pitch... second basemen with poor effort to get that ball too.

Jeter acts like he just won the World Series lol

I do think the aura about the Yankees is all over now the Jeter's gone

It's just a bunch of hamburgers now on the team no identity

I think Yankee attendance will go down moving forward

yankee attendance has been awful ever since Steinbrenner died.

remember when they made the playoffs a few years ago?

that stadium was almost completely empty for a fukkin playoff series!!!

lol i doubt he gets the same kind of love from Yankee fans when he decides to retire.

actually A-Rod being gone this year probably influenced Jeters decision to make this his last year.

Jeter always hated sharing the spotlight with A-Rod

it would have been hilarious had Jeters last AB resulted in Tommy Hunter drilling him in the back with a 95mph heater lol

wonder if Jeters bitch ass would have charged the mound lol

yeah i wouldnt be surprised if Yankees are good next year and A-Rod has a monster year.

i am sure he has been juicing this whole time and lifting weights like a mad man since he dont gotta piss for nobody right now.

come back swoll and once he gets big its easier to maintain than it is to gain so he wont need the steroids once spring training starts.

Perfect synopsis of the whole Jeter thing actually. Game winning boring as heck single in a completely meaningless game.

Let's act like it's Joe Carter winning the world series with a dinger or Ted Williams ending his career going yard.

The most overrated player of all time, completely stale in an interview and good to see him move on. Good player, need to not hear about it anymore.

What a story for mlb how convenient. Not saying it was pre-rigged but when the opportunity presented itself there was NO way that story was ending any different.

That was the juiciest pitch I've seen in a long time to Jeter.
Evan Meek will be cherished forever in the hearts of Yankees fans.
He should have thrown his glove down in disgust though to cover up his contentment of being a part of history.

Reeks of Strahan and Brett Favre to me. The Orioles are thinking playoffs, and don't need any unnecessary extra inning games.

Lol, that ball must have looked like a beach ball coming in. He could have thrown out underhanded, I guess. I used to pitch, I'd have done the same thing. CIA would drill any pitcher through the noggin if he struck out Jeter his last time up in the Bronx.

haha very true. That pitcher left that pitch belt high and right down the middle.

Jeter actually should have taken that pitch for an opposite field home run.

Waving bye bye to most overhyped superstar in history.

Whatever admiration I give him for banging Minka Kelly is 100% negated by banging Mariah Carey. What a faggo.
