    I mean in the 7th, Baltimore SS throws away a DP groundball on possibly Jeter's final AB, NYY takes the lead with the unearned runs. Miracle top of the 9th as Balty ties it then Jeters wins it in the bottom on the inning. I know it aint rigged but just cant help but think there was some "help" somewhere along the line

    Derek Jeter has had the life every man wishes he could have lived. Outside of Ted Williams (who was a war hero in addition to being a great baseball player), I think Jeter has everyone else beat. The guy is mid to late 30s, dates models, is a hall of fame baseball player, never had anything even remotely controversial come up around him. No adversity. He's had an easy life.

    If I could hang out with 2 guys right now on earth - for a guys night out - it'd be Derek Jeter and Jesse Palmer. If you had those two dudes as your wing men, you'd be around hot girls non-stop. I guarantee Palmer bangs a different college girl each campus he visits as he travels around doing ESPN/SEC games.

    The guy was one of the luckiest baseball players of all times

    He came into the perfect situation in New York surrounded by great players

    Can you imagine if he played for another team he never even wouid of got to 2000 hits

    It's surprising a guy that does not have an engaging personality was so popular

    He had that cute image with the woman and it mushroom to every body
