    Who in the hell is going to the World Series?



    Every team has pretty significant flaws. Recently more than ever, it's more about the team that gets hot at the right time instead of the "best" team. Looks like this year's pennant chases are more wide-open than ever.

    The Orioles if they can stay healthy. Living in Maryland a Beltway Battle World Series would be my absolute dream come true. The O's and the Nats clinched on the exact same day.....sounds like fate to me!

    I wouldn't put any stock in what you see from a team after they already clinch a playoff berth. I wouldn't expect them to be putting anywhere near 100% right now. It's all about conserving energy, focus, and player health for October.

    90% of the public couldn't care less about the WS. Only New York could save it. It will be the lowest watched series in history. Games are unwatchable and even more so with 6 pitching changes per side in the playoffs. Watch the Nationals not even sell out a Sunday playoff game. Everyone will be watching the Redskins.

    Will be interesting how they handle Verlander, at this point he cannot be trusted in the playoffs. Maybe he will accept a smaller role like Lincecum to help the team.
