What A Day For NFL Injuries!

It was easier for me to just copy this from footballguys:

KC - Ankle sprain for RB Jamaal Charles
Source: The Kansas City Star - Terez A. Paylor
Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles (ankle) suffered a sprained ankle in the Week 2 game against the Denver Broncos, head coach Andy Reid said Sunday, Sept. 14.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The question is how ready Charles will be to play at Miami next week. Knile Davis's big day had to frustrate Charles owners, and it may cause the Chiefs to be cautious with their offensive MVP because the backup was so productive in a tough divisional matchup. Charles will have an MRI tomorrow according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

WAS - WR DeSean Jackson has sprain
    Source: CSNWashington.com - Tarik El-Bashir
Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (shoulder) suffered a sprained AC joint in the first quarter of the Week 2 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. 'I feel a little better from when it first happened,' Jackson said Sunday, Sept. 14. 'The player actually just fell right on my shoulder.' Jackson said he considers himself day to day, and it is too early to know if he'll be ready for the Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This is better news than a broken collarbone, and at least Kirk Cousins looks as good as he should have against a weak Jaguars pass defense. Next week's matchup against his old Eagles team is one that Jackson will not want to miss, but he might not have a say in that decision.

CIN - WR A.J. Green has turf toe
    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Darin Gantt
Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (toe) suffered a turf toe injury in the Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons, a league source said Sunday, Sept. 14. He left early and was unable to return. It is uncertain how much time he will miss.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This has since been updated to a ligament strain. Stay tuned for everything our Dr. Jene Bramel has to say about how this impacts Green's outlook. The values of Andy Dalton, Giovani Bernard, Mohamed Sanu, and Jeremy Hill will all be affected.

MIA - RB Knowshon Moreno to miss month
    Source: ProFootballTalk.com
Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins RB Knowshon Moreno (elbow) is expected to miss four weeks due to a dislocated elbow, according to a source. He was injured in the Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Lamar Miller, like the whole Dolphins offense, did not have a standout day. He would have flex appeal against the Chiefs if his leg injury checks out, but it's hard to be as excited about his gain in value coming off of this game.

WAS - Robert Griffin dislocates ankle
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Updating previous reports, Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (ankle) suffered a dislocated ankle during the team's Week 2 game, according to a source. He will undergo tests to confirm the injury.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Griffin is almost certainly lost for at least the next 3-4 games. Kirk Cousins has played well and zeroed in on Niles Paul, who will be a hot waiver wire pickup in Week 3. Next week brings the Eagles defense, which could help Cousins build some momentum.

TEN - RB Dexter McCluster in walking boot
Source: The Tennessean - Jim Wyatt
Tennessee Titans RB Dexter McCluster (foot) left the locker room after the Week 2 game against the Dallas Cowboys with his right foot in a walking boot.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This could pave the way for rookie Bishop Sankey to have a larger role, but the matchup at Cincinnati next week isn't a great one.

TEN - TE Delanie Walker sets career high
Source: The Tennessean - John Glennon
Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker had 10 catches for a career-high 142 yards in the Week 2 game against the Dallas Cowboys, including a 61-yard touchdown.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Everyone expected a big week for all of the key Titans skill players against a Cowboys defense that put up little resistance to the 49ers in Week 1. Only Walker obliged, showing his jets on a long catch and run touchdown that included a broken tackle. The Bengals defense will be a lot tougher next week, but Walker is hot and has scored in two straight weeks.

HOU - RB Arian Foster posts big stat line
    Source: ESPN
Houston Texans RB Arian Foster rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries in Week 2 against the Oakland Raiders, and he added two receptions for 12 yards. Foster has back-to-back 100-yard rushing games to open the season.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Foster has looked every bit pf the top 5 level fantasy pick stud workhorse back he has been for most of the last four seasons. With a good defense and schedule, Foster will be an everyweek RB1 as long as he is healthy.

HOU - Alfred Blue sees more action
    Source: The Associated Press
Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue carried 11 times for 40 yards in the Week 2 game against the Oakland Raiders, while RB Jonathan Grimes had just three carries for nine yards. Neither player had a reception.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Blue was in on the game-killing drives, and it's not clear who the right back to own is in the event the Arian Foster goes down. Foster looks good, so it might not be as important as it seemed when the season opened.

SD - RB Donald Brown sees more touches
Source: The San Diego Union-Tribune - Michael Gehlken
San Diego Chargers RB Donald Brown saw most of the snaps after RB Ryan Mathews (knee) went down in the Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks. He finished with seven carries for 21 yards while also added three receptions for 10 yards. RB Danny Woodhead actually led the team with 32 yards on eight rushes, and he had four catches for 28 yards.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Neither back is more than a flex or a desperation RB2 against the Bills defense that slowed down a hot Dolphins running game today. Woodhead has more appeal, especially in PPR leagues.

GB - New career high for WR Jordy Nelson
    Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson hauled in nine passes for 209 yards and an 80-yard touchdown in the Week 2 win against the New York Jets.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Nelson burned a Jets secondary that was way undermanned at cornerback and didn't get to Aaron Rodgers enough to hold him and his #1 receiver down. It should be another big week for Nelson at Ford Field against the Lions in Week 3.

SD - QB Philip Rivers accomplishes rarity
    Source: ESPN
San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers completed 28 of his 37 pass attempts for 284 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 2 win against the Seattle Seahawks. He is the first opposing quarterback since Week 8 of the 2012 (Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford) to throw for three or more touchdown passes against Seattle.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Rivers was masterful with his old battery mate Antonio Gates, who turned back the clock with a sprawling one-handed catch for a score as part of his massive day. Rivers solved a Seahawks defense - albeit away from Seattle - that had flummoxed other top quarterbacks in their last few times out. He's a solid QB1 heading into Buffalo next week.

SD - RB Ryan Mathews to have MRI
    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter
Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (knee) is scheduled to undergo an MRI for his injured knee, according to a source. There is concern he might have a sprained medial collateral ligament.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A sprained MCL is not a season-ending injury by any measure, but it would probably mean that we would see a Danny Woodhead-Donald Brown committee next week at Buffalo at a minimum.

CLE - Terrance West doing well
    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter
Cleveland Browns RB Terrance West is the first rookie running back with at least 90 yards from scrimmage in his team's first two games since RB Chris Johnson (then, with the Tennessee Titans) and Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte in 2008.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
West looked up to the task of being the lead back and should get another start next week at home against the Ravens. He'll be good for at least a flex start.

JAX - TE Marcedes Lewis in walking boot
    Source: ESPN.com - Michael DiRocco
Jacksonville Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in the Week 2 game against the Washington Redskins, and left the locker room wearing a protective boot while using crutches.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Lewis had a long catch and run touchdown and the second such lapse by Washington safety Bacarri Rambo before he left the game. The Jaguars pass offense isn't worth going near until Blake Bortles starts at quarterback anyway.

JAX - Allen Hurns on crutches
    Source: ESPN.com - Michael DiRocco
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (leg) left the locker room after the Week 2 game against the Washington Redskins on crutches due to an undisclosed leg injury.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hurns had a big first week, but he and the Jaguars offense never got out of neutral, and the UDFA rookie had injury added to insult. Cecil Shorts could be back in line to start when he returns.

MIA - TE Charles Clay leaves briefly
    Source: ESPN.com - James Walker
Miami Dolphins TE Charles Clay (undisclosed) left the Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills briefly due to an undisclosed injury, but he was able to return. He finished with seven receptions for 31 yards.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Clay hasn't been nearly as involved in the downfield offense as he was last year. He is droppable if you have another viable option at tight end. Clay doesn't offer much weekly upside, but his downside has been visible in the first two weeks.

WAS - RB Roy Helu injured
    Source: CSNWashington.com - Tarik El-Bashir
Washington Redskins RB Roy Helu (knee) suffered a left knee injury Week 2 and will not return to the game.
    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
UDFA rookie Silas Redd moves up to backup running back for any length of time that Helu is out, and he scored in garbage time to build a little momentum today. Remember his name if Alfred Morris goes down.

Eric Decker's hammy pull is an aggravation

The right hamstring Eric Decker injured during Sunday's loss at Green Bay is the same one that nagged him throughout training camp.

Recurring hamstring woes are major issues for wide receivers. Decker is headed for further testing on Monday to determine the severity, but this pull is believed to be more severe than his training camp one. If the ex-Bronco has to miss time, Geno Smith will have Jeremy Kerley and David Nelson as his top wideouts. The Jets host the Bears in Week 3.

Vernon Davis on crutches after loss to Bears

Vernon Davis (ankle) was spotted on crutches following Sunday night's 28-20 loss to the Bears.

Davis hurt his left ankle when he was dragged down from behind by Bears LB Jonathan Bostic in the fourth quarter. The severity of the sprain is unknown, with a Monday MRI likely pending. Backup Vance McDonald was also limited by a first-half knee injury, leaving third-stringer Derek Carrier to catch three passes for 41 yards.
