    2 relief pitchers and a solid .280 20 homer guy and they can make the playoffs next year. They should easily be 10 games better if they had even an average bullpen.

    Astros shut McHugh down for the season, he will not qualify to be ranked among league leaders with 154.2 innings, leaving him 7.1 innings short.

    He finishes 11-9 with a 2.73 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and a 157/41 K/BB ratio.

    terrible call, they have all offseason to let him rest. He qualifies and the Astros have the batting title, top 3 AL homer guy, and two pitchers with top 10 ERAs and possibly top 5. Future looking real, real bright.

    Odd stat: after last night's W, Collin McHugh is 12-0 in 16 starts as an Astro in September games. He could get two more starts this month.
