Green Bay will emerge as the team to beat this year. They were the best team in the league after winning 4 years ago and went 15-1 the next year but were exposed as a one trick pony. They've been passed over by the likes of Seattle and San Fran but I think this is the year they put it all together.

The Pack have the best quarterback in football. Yes. The best. Rodgers does it all. He's got the best arm and he's not a statue. They've now added a viable running game and the defense is good as long as Matthews can stay on the field.

On top of all this, the NFL is doing everything it can to make sure a team like Seattle does not win again. The golden boy Manning was embarrassed and the league does not like that (see 2004 AFC Championship game). The increased emphasis on the 5 yard rule will only benefit the top offensive teams and surely Green Bay is one of those teams.

I'm all loaded up on Packers Futures.

+1150 to win the Super Bowl
    +650 to win the NFC
    Over 11 Wins +178

I'm a big believer in Rodgers. Even when the defense plays shi##y... Rodgers always keeps them close. Always a play a way from winning.

No not groundhog day. Just two instances in which I bet the Packers (funny how this jackass only picked a couple losses) and last year saying I liked GB but then Rodgers got hurt.

Don't try and be a smartass. If you have an opinion on the team, feel free to share it.

Good luck bro. I might give NFL a try this year even though I know next to nothing about it atm. The wait for hoops is getting long.

Packers are a good bet to win it all at that number but I still think Seattle is the team to beat. Lacy will be a monster this year and help move the chains, but Rodgers targets have decreased over the year. What was once a receiving core of Jennings, Nelson, Cobb and Finley is now Nelson, Cobb, Boytkin and a no name TE. Rodgers is the best QB, but I would like to see Pack GM put more around his superstar. They're one injury away in the receiving corps to being very thin, and not like Cobb or Nelson have exactly been durable.

I have no idea what to expect from the defense. If it looks anything like last year then they have no chance at the SB.

Gun to my head I say Seattle-NE SB.

Love the Pack bet (and I'm a Lions fan who HATES GB)

I got the packers at 8:1 to win the Super Bowl. Best bet on the board IMO.

I could easily see Broncos winning and honestly think they will. Ridiculous offense and a really beefed-up defense. However the odds to bet broncos to win SB just aren't appetizing.

And I know Seattle is great n all but in today's NFL, teams don't repeat. They just don't.

Dont waste your time looking at trends. Most teams that won the SB will old veteran teams. Most of Seattle's player will only get better. No major losses on that team either. Not saying they will win, but that trend doesn't apply to them.

Saints are the pick for me this year. Especially at those juicy 15-1 odds. They are a complete team. Defense is so underrated. If they win homefield throughout, which is very possible considering the NFC West and North teams should beat each other up a bit, you will have major hedge opportunity. I put $200 on Saints at 15-1 a few weeks ago and I might go even heavier.

i dont think either team a bad pick but i agree aints at 15-1 a better choice.. if they start forcing turnovers which you would expect from a ryan defense they gonna be tough..

I think Byrd addition will go a long way to helping that happen. Their secondary in general is one of the deepest in the league. Defensive line is damn strong as well. I think biggest thing with them is hedge opportunities if they get home field. They'll be favored on the ML in every game no matter the opponent if they are at home.
