I like Bennett always have, like his talent, not sure why so many sh!t on him, still very young. I dont think people actually watch, they just listen to others and the media.

Bennett (who is trash) will be moved to Philly for Thaddeus Young, so Wiggins, Young, and another 1st rounder for Minny is a pretty decent haul for the Wolves.

Philly will be tanking again for at least another season or two.

I was super enamored by the situation with Lebron coming back to team up with Wiggles because of all of their similar background hype and such... that would have been really intriguing to watch grow into something special... but oh well... now i just say fuk it.

The people of C-town will enjoy the deeeee heyelllll out of this superstar team... if this turns out to be a 3 or more year multiple championship team and possibly even a dynasty for next 5 years, it could feel for Cleveland fans like what Chicago had during Jordan Era. No guarantees, but that's the the kind of city we are... Cleveland is mini Chicago and people are a lot alike. I love Chicago and think they have awesome fans and a great city... C-town fans will not take this for granted. City will thrive and people will enjoy life more because of it.

No way anyone can play this trade down for Cavs. This team could seriously win 4 straight titles... or none... we shall see. That said I still really loved the idea of it happening with homegrowns... just seemed like a really unique opportunity for a sports team to have 4 number one draft picks starting career with same team becoming a sports storyline... oh well, I'll Love... I mean live.

On a side note... Uncle Drew commercial with Love and The Lebrons might be coming soon. That could be pretty sweet.

A first rounder in 2015 will probably be 29th pick. Not a big loss.

Cavs raped Minnesota on this one. I'm a big KU fan. Wiggins might be good in 2-3 years in the right system, but he never showed the needed aggressiveness to be the top dog. At KU, he was supposed to be the man, but he shrunk on many occasions. Not a good shooter yet. He's basically an athlete who can run, dunk and get to the hoop if so inclined. Maybe that means he fits in perfect in the shitball that is the NBA.

Bennett? WTF did he do last year? Hell WTF did he do in college? He had one "decent" season and parlayed it into millions on "potential" ... he's basically the poster boy for why the NBA sucks dikk. Drafting on "potential" ... I'd make the this deal 11 times out of 10 if I was Cleveland.

If you ask any GM if they'd trade tomorrow's potential for a chance to win NOW, they'd move on that deal in a heartbeat. Wiggins and Bennett could be legit studs for ten years or they could be absolute shit. With Lebron + Love in a horse shit Conference, you're the top contender.

Thats two #1 picks and a future first rounder for a guy who's never even made the playoffs. Love is obviously a proven player in the league but Wiggins ceiling was through the roof, add Bennett and the other first rounder on top and this is a shit deal. Wiggins could have set this team up for the future even after Lebron
First off - the first rounder in 2015 will be the #30th pick ( nothing)

So they gave up Bennett / Wiggins...

Bennett is fat and can't shoot.

    Wiggins COULD be a star.

    Give me the STAR

I agree, but I just hope to God this doesn't burn us somehow... Please stay healthy Love, and don't turn into Bosh for Christ's sake... I don't care how good Wiggins gets, just give me a title, more than one would be nice, but just give me the one. If Wiggins becomes a star (I think he will be), and Cavs do NOT win it all (I think they will at least twice), then this will be another chapter in Cleveland futility.

I just hate what the NBA has become. A league where athletes commingle between each other to build all-star teams. A league where teams like the wolves are forced to trade love because he won't resign. Nba champions were never built overnight like what is possible now. I'm just happy my Spurs won last year to prove you can still win the right way.

not every1 is lucky to have

david robinson, then manu, tony parker, etc etc as teammates for over a decade

Love, according to all defensive metrics is a middle of the pack defender.

Miggy in MLB gets the same rap. People crap all over Cabrera' defense too, he's not a gold glover, but like Love, his defense isn't all that bad either.

I remember one Griz game Love locked down Ridy Gay for like 3 for 14 from the floor. He ain't that bad.

Sounds like Bennett will be redirected to Philly while Minny gets Thaddeus Young. Deal gets even better for Minny while Philly continues to try to lose.

Wolves might even contend for a playoff spot.

No one is taking anything away from what the Spurs have done in the last 15 years... truly one of the few dynasties in NBA history. I love the Spurs and how they play team ball. Itll be interesting when we meet in the finals...

    yes, in the past
since u mentioned the past, u already recognized their existence
the point is, the ballyhooed team spurs won titles in many forms
they won with the superstar model, they won with big3 model, they won with team model
