    Glad for one that it sounds like he is getting the best medical treatment in the country, he is very lucky guy in that aspect. To the question about is it a fair question or not to ask if he is going to die. It sounds like to me, as a person who has had cancer, and many operations. That they are just doing time management at this point, by that I mean they are never going to fully 100 percent remove all of his tumors. Hope he has the family an support around him for when that time comes, where the doctors have tried everything they can, and he can't just say 'lets fight on'.

    Stu had so many things right in that speech

    I've always hated the "giving up" thing with regard to cancer, although I know it's multi-faceted in Jimmy V speeches, etc. As if you live or die based on your own will --- it's a silly idea. The doctors are the ones that enable you to keep it going, and hopefully everyone is using their social, scientific and humanly skills that God granted them to show love in the world.

    Yes, that is one thing I hate too. To me a person who decides that they would rather forgo treatment so they can spend the last months with their family, and do what they want, instead of going through chemo that will only add anther couple months to their live is much braver. I hope one day in this country we can get to the point where there is not such a stigma to this fact, sometimes its not worth the fight if it doesn't add any quality of life, and their is no chance of survivorablity.

    A number of states have death with dignity laws now, I believe Vermont just recently passed theres a year back, and a few more are introducing laws in the coming year.
