I think their long season and Champions League finally caught up with them...the entire team was dead. The majority of their team was involved with Champions League, La Liga final weekend, FA Cup, etc. so they basically had nothing left in their legs....these other players are much fresher and ready to go.

The declining signs were there 2 seasons ago. Barca thrashed by Bayern in the CL then Spain destroyed by Brazil in the Confederations Cup finals. And last season Pep's Bayern humiliated by Real Madrid.

Most all teams have crack Tiki Taka. Be physical when pressing and counter with speed. Brazil, Aletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Holland and Chile have all show the world how to do it.

Lets ignore the fact that there back-line is nothing more than average - Mertesacker, Lahm, Boateng, Howedes, Durm, Mustafi - Lahm is the only world-class player there. Then their defensive midfielders are Khedira who has hardly played all season and when he did was absolutely hopeless (Champs League Final) and Schweinsteiger who is past his best and been average all season. One of their best attacking players in Marco Reus is injured, their only out-and-out striker is a 36 year old Klose.

But yeah they are hands down the best
