Who here is a fan of the 76ers?

I have to really commend that front office. They decided a few years ago to trade away their best piece, and will be better for it starting this year.

For my money, and I am sure without much controversy, MCW was by far the best player in last years draft. A talent to build around. Add onto that any one of Wiggins, Parker and Embid and you have an instant nucleus of young talent. Best part of picking 3rd, is there is no wrong answer among the 3.

The real kicker comes with the 10th pick of this draft (combined with ability to make moves). I have a strong feeling the 76ers get a relative steal at 10.

Point being, while a lot of franchises have made some terrible choices, the 76ers had some incredible foresight.

I'm not a fan of the 76ers, but keeping Thaddeus Young was another good decision they made

No superstars now. No superstars in the draft. I'd happily trade away drafts and young dudes for a proven winner to build around

Fan of what they're doing, for sure. Rooting for Mike and hoping they get Young at 10, love his stroke and ability to drive with plenty of potential to improve. Maybe Harris/Stauskas but not a huge fan of either compared to Young...really think he will be a stud. MCW is lethal with a lights out shooter to rely on, just like when he had James Southerland. Parker at the 3rd pick...you got MCW/Young/Parker/Thaddeus/Noel...scoring, length and the ability to defend at every position really. Wroten off the bench, perfect combo guard to bring in when you need a scorer. Great pieces in place if they play this draft right.

Would love Parker to fall to them but you can plug Wiggins into SF as well. A little less rebounding but dynamic 3 nonetheless. If Embiid happens to fall, while I really think he should go #1, then you can roll with the twin towers of Embiid/Noel and move Thaddeus to the 3. MCW and take Harris/Stauskas/Young at 10. Gonna be tough to fck up this draft for the Sixers.

Gonna be rooting for them, management doing a great job compared to my two other teams the Knicks and Magic. Let's see how the Magic fck up the 4th and 12th pick this year.

Some have Gordon at 10...Parker/Wiggins at #3 to play the 3 then Gordon at 10 at PF.

Shit...could roll with MCW/Wiggins/Thaddeus/Gordon/Noel if it goes that way.

Rambling here but love talking about the possibilities...can't wait for this draft.

They will have a solid young core, whether it equates to anything, time will tell. But for now, their future looks promising with a young nucleus of MCW, Noel, Parker/Wiggins and whoever they take 10th. A ton of good players should still be on the board with the 10th pick. OP is right, major props to Philly, most GMs don't have what it takes to become real bad in order to be good a few years down the road. It was the right move, Holiday and Turner weren't going to take them anywhere.

True that, Wiggins and Young aren't terrible but that would be a brick fest. We're throwing out the 2-3 Zone and playing in the 70's. Just for you, Chalky.

What does this have to do with the playoffs??? Not being rude, but I mean really. Their season ended months ago.

I think it's reasonable to believe Parker falls to the Sixers are 3.

The cavs will have a hard time passing on Embid, IMO. The Bucks select upside in Wiggins. Parker falls to the sixers, and adds instant offense to what could be an insanely long "defensive" team, depending on how things fall.

To truly be fair, their season was over before it began last season. There are few tank jobs as obvious as that one. As such, their actual payoff is starting now.

Embid injury really hurts.. This team was in a great position in this draft sitting with 3 and 10 and 5 2nd rounders

There is zero chance, IMO, that the Sixers take the Aussie PG.

Doesn't make sense. Take a shot at embid if you must.

For all the tanking this is one of the worst scenarios since Embidd injury literally ****** the 76ers/Magic up the ass. Now 76ers will try to trade up to get Wiggins at #1 if at all possible.Milwaukee co-owner already said they will pass on Embidd so Bucks will end up with Parker most likely. If 76ers can't pull off a deal they will draft Exum at #3 and trade MCW. Despite MCW ROY they think Exum potential is greater as possible future combo guard threat and will look to cash in on MCW while they can.

Embidd likely falls to the Lakers at this point based on needs.

I read that if they do trade MCW and take Exum then it's likely to be with the Lakers for their #7 pick and Nash.

    Then they would have #3 , #7 , and #10 pick.
