Hope you are right kraken, but the LAC series was an unusual circumstance. Lots of outside stuff that made it a unique situation. This spurs team is beastly right now. I just hope OKC grabs the game tonight. Good luck

Me too, I'm on the spread and ml

OKC cannot win this series though. OKC is already not a very deep team and the Spurs go very deep. Take away OKC's best rim defender and third best scorer is just too much to over come against the Spurs.

The good news is, adams is playing really good.

Bad news, Durant already looms tired and it's only the 1q

Unreal how easy it is for SA to get to the rim and finish. SA will be the fresher team in the late 3q and all of the 4q

Without Ibaka, San Antonio is simply the better team. Not even close. This OKC team wouldn't have beat the Clippers either. Ibaka just means too much to them.

i am going for spurs to win championship all season long and last season as well as I thought they gave it away to Miami. I know OKC very well as they are going to make a run very soon as west steps up his defense its going to lead to some nice fast breaks and free throws for OKC. Shoult be able to cut it down to 10 or so by end of the quarter.

Steven Adams is a different beast entirely but SA is going to leave him anywhere 10ft away from the goal and clog the lane.

There's also the added benefit that KD, serge and RW have played together and started together for what, 5 years (?) and they've been to the NbA finals together.

On defense, our D usually goes as Serge goes. He is such an amazing help side defender that plays well above the rim that losing him on D is huge.

Adams will play more and contribute. His #'s should go up. But he won't replace Ibaka on either end. Regardless of his upside.

HOWEVER, I started this thread and i am sticking by my fukking original statement, Thunder in 7

I just don't believe it nearly as much now

Without Serge, the Spurs are collapsing in the paint to guard against Westbrook driving, they're guarding Durant and that's it. They don't have to guard anyone else. Westbrook has ZERO FT's so far on 5/17 shooting.

Spurs in 4. And they'll cover the spread in every game.

Good night. I'm gonna watch a movie and hit the sack.

To be honest, I think Brooks can only make that many adjustments. In game 1, Spurs scored 60+ points in the paint. Now in game 2, he packed the paint and will live with Spurs taking the lower % 3 points shot.

Westbrook is a total joker you put him on any average team he might as well be Tyreke Evans.

Spurs make a lot of teams look bad. Thunder are still a great team I think. Spurs are just on a different level this season. Someone has to shoot on the thunder. I think it should be Reggie Jackson over westbrook but they dont want to go to small at the same time. Spurs are just better coached and there is no team that can match up well against the spurs.

As the announcer said though spurs played great in game 1 and 2 last season as well and fell apart at the end. Lets see if OKC can bounce back to single digits at least at home. I think Spurs take it in 5 still. They are trying to get a lot of Rest before the finals.

Big difference though. They had Harden nailing 3's plus Ibaka on D that year. They have neither this one.
