    Why are soccer players' legs so fragile?

    Every time one of these guys hits the grass they are grasping their ankle or knee, writhing in pain.

    Can you imagine if these guys tried to play American football or rugby? Their legs would snap.

    at this extremely high level the tackles can be pretty ferocious

    a guy 6'3" 235 comes in full run studs up at your ankles first minute of the match sets a precedent for the game

    we always wore little shinnies in school you get kicked anyway

    Actually hurts a lot to get kicked in the ankle by someone with cleats on. But yes they make a show of it to get calls.
