It's a noon start and I have a massage appointment then so posting now.
NC State a team that in the last 2 weeks has lost by 1 point to both the 19th and 1st ranked teams in the nation, one at home the other on the road. They've already played and beaten Miami @ Miami 3 weeks ago. The Wolfpack are arguably better than their 17-11 record seeing as how they had a pathetic 3 game stretch in the middle of January being outscored 241-174. Take away that bad stretch and they've played some inspired ball. Warren is a beast of a player and should be able to score on Miami here (went for 36 and 10 last game and 27/9 in previous game @ Miami) Miami is a putrid offensive team, not ranking in the top THREE HUNDRED in points/fg %/assists. Miami has to rely strictly on their defensive prowess to keep in contention (9th overall in the nation) but this being a road game and NC State smarting from their 1 point OT loss to a ranked team, I think they come out with aggression. Look for NC State to jump out to a 6-8 point lead at halftime time and keep it in the 8-12 range in the second half for what should hopefully be an easy cover. Like the Canisius game tonight I think this line is off by a few points, will see what happens.
