1.Tigers - Only weak link is Dirks
    2. Yankees-Line-up is Loaded if they healthy they win it all.
    3. Red Sox- even w/o Ellsbury stacked
    4. Rangers
    5. Dodgers
    6. Angels- If Pujols and Hamilton stop hitting into so many DP's
    7. Rockies- if healthy which sounds far fetched with these guys
    8. Jays- will lead the Majors in HR's
    9. D-Backs
    10. Orioles

    may make some revisions

Teams like the Nationals Pirates and A's and Rays can pitch but their offenses are not built to have success in the post season

    good find.

I dont know man the A's never hit well in the post season. Good pitchers tend to shut them down. No way they are top 10 line-up until they replace Sogard.

The Braves strike out too much and you can always count on them to choke in big games.

    Not even close IMO.
They were the luckbox team last year. Horrible offense, I believe they set a record for whiffs, relied on huge hits and long balls.
    Overachieved bigtime.
Great under bet this year, even in that weak division they may be .500

Give me a break. Bunch of old, injury-prone guys who are past their prime. They let a top-5 player in the game go and think they did well replacing him in the lineup with Ellsbury, Beltran and McCann. McCann is on the downside of his career, and though I like Ellsbury, they severely overpaid for him. Great speed and decent on-base and defense (Terrible arm) but he is injury-prone and doesn't give you anything as far as power. Beltran has still been hitting, but he is also getting very old and that his numbers could come crashing down at any moment. What are they going to get out of Texeira? Jeter? Who's playing third base? I would take the Rangers, Sox, Tigers, A's, Dodgers, Reds and Cardinals lineups over them for sure, and that's just off the top of my head. Like Broadway said though, it's about pitching anyways.

Yanks lineup is not even close to the best.
Everything is on point EXCEPT Cano being top 5.
Overrated garbage playing in a shoebox stadium all those years.
Get back to me after this season and try saying the same thing.
    Will never happen.
Will bat 285 with 15 hr's this year.

They spent significantly more money on three declining, aging, injury-prone players than they did on an elite, five-tool player with zero injury history in the prime of his career. You sir, are the clueless one.

And how much do you want to bet that Robby Cano is an All-Star five years from now? You said he will start to suck in four, so I'm willing to give you another year. Clown.

Cano is a good fit in Seattle. Could be the shot in the arm they need. Mariners over season win total will be one I'm looking closely at...

If the Yankees are significantly better this year, it will be because Tanaka is a stud, CC rights his declining ship and Kuroda has puts up similar numbers to last season. Won't be because their lineup is great, IMO.

    Tanaka is a stud.

And no matter what the yankees line-up will be better this season simply b/c i dont see how they could possibly have as many injuries as they had last season.

i am not a yankees fan by the way.

I agree, he looks like a stud, but so did Daisuke. For the Yankees sake - considering what they paid - he better be a lot more like Darvish here in the states. They were decimated by injuries last season, but a lot of those same issues remain. Jeter is an injury question mark. Same with Texeira. And they are adding more guys with a long injury history. Could it all, or at least most of it, work out? Sure, and they have a good year. I just don't see it all coming together for them. Bunch of old guys. Fragile old guys.

    1. Ellsbury CF
    2. Jeter SS
    3. Beltran RF
    4. Texiera 1B
    5. McCann C
    6. Soriano DH
    7. Johnson 3B
    8. Roberts/ Nunez 2B
    9. Gardner / Ichiro LF

pretty dope bullpen with Thornton and Robertson

Sabbathia, Tanaka, Kuroda good top 3 in rotation.

big question marks about #4 and #5 starters though.

    1. Ellsbury CF Good offensive player, injury history, plus range in OF but no arm.
    2. Jeter SS Who knows.
    3. Beltran RF Way past the wrong side of 30. Still producing but for how long?
    4. Texiera 1B Who knows.
    5. McCann C Batting avg the last four years: .269, .270, .236, .256. Missed 153 games in that span. $85 million lolol
    6. Soriano DH Might have a pretty good year or two left. Who knows since he's almost 40, though.
    7. Johnson 3B No thanks.
    8. Roberts/ Nunez 2B Nah.
    9. Gardner / Ichiro LF Gardner is a nice little player.

pretty dope bullpen with Thornton and Robertson Thornton blows, I do like Robertson.

Sabbathia, Tanaka, Kuroda good top 3 in rotation. Touched on this already.

big question marks about #4 and #5 starters though. Yep.

If you don't want to use All-Star appearance, then you tell me how you want to determine that Robinson Cano will still be a very good player five years from now? You let me know. Cano isn't following A-Rod's spiral downhill. He works too hard, and does it without juice or drama. And has always played 2B, which is a lot less stress on the arm/body than SS. Grow up, Peter Pan.

yankees lineup overrated, too many old players and question marks. Jeter due for a bounce back year but the other older players all question marks. Also considering their age they might have injury issues as well. They will be in the playoff race likely but that division is very tough with Tampa always finding a way to stay competitive.

cano does not work hard I'm a yankee fan i would know ..

the guy is lazier than most of these fat fukks here on sbr

he will not be a 300 hitter in 5 years in seattle
he will not hit 30 home runs in 5 years in seattle
he will not have 100 rbis in seattle in 5 years
he will still be good defensively in 5 years

other than that .. nothing worth 30 million

RBIs are too variable because they're very dependent upon guys getting on base ahead of ya, but I'll be you 200 betpoints that Cano has a .300 avg and 30+ home runs at least twice in the year 2018 and beyond hotshot.
