Everyone's joke of a city, Detroit, since 1984, won 1 World Series, 3 NBA titles, and 4 Cups.

Fukk all the Cleveland haters. Yes, we haven't won a title since 1964 BUT we've been in the title hunt numerous times in many, many years. If it wasn't for Elway and the drive, the fumble, if it wasn't for Jordan and the shot, if it wasn't for Lebron and the decision and if it wasn't for Jose Fukking Mesa blowing the save, Cleveland would be in the discussion of the city of champions (which we were in the first half of the century).

Wait, what? Detroit is and always will be an upper class sports town. The knuckle dragging liberals ruined the city, the sports teams are the only bright spot.

I just meant that people mock Detroit all the time, but fail to realize the facts about it. Great sports teams and a lot of wealth in Oakland county. Try telling someone you are from Detroit in another big town and they look at you like you are mentally handicapped.

Born and raised in Oakland County. I know exactly what you're trying to explain.
