LeBron will fold even on just a Jordan trash talk.

    86 Celtics, 87 Lakers.
Kareem and McKale. Magic and Larry. Worthy and Chief. Cooper and DJ. C`s had a healthy Walton coming off the bench.
They were without a doubt the best and most complete teams anyone over 40 has ever witnessed.

Heat without Wade would be vulnerable to Bulls team at full strength.

How bad would the '85-'86 Celtics beat that Jordan team is the better question?
40-1 home record will never be duplicated.

Jordan would own Ainge, that is a given.

    DJ would own Steve Kerr
How good was DJ? Bird called him the greatest teammate he ever had.

McHale was the better matchup no matter if they put Salley or Rodman on him

If somebody wants to argue Pippen was the better shooting forward than Bird, I would have that person committed.

Doesn't matter if you put Kukoc, Wennington, or Longley on Parrish, Boston owns the center position.

That Bulls would not match up well against that Celtic team.

Back on topic, the Heat team is so overrated, it's laughable.

Their talent matches up more than you think. Most of the people posting here give the Bulls the edge because they grew up watching them.

That being said, I'd take the Bulls. They played in a different era and beat good defense teams playing under much less whistle-happy rules.

Steve Kerr was a 2nd teamer. Harper started and his length may have bothered DJ. Rodman guarding McHale would have been fun to watch.

Bird loved Lurch on the court, off the court, dislike would be the right word.

Funny about Bird, he really didn't like his white teammates much off the court, but loved to hang with DJ and Parrish.

Decimate them. Especially the Rodman team. Rodman would absolutely pummel LeBron.

Although, that brings up the question - do we play the game under the 90's rules or the new rules?

New Rules, Jordan goes for 60 any night he wants. Old Rules, LeBron ends up crying and going home before halftime.

2 best teams I think in NBA history and easily my lifetime: 86 Celtics and 96 Bulls

The heat wouldn't last 2 minutes without being rattled by the 72-10 bulls.

Bulls would roll easily. It's not even close.

You guys gotta remember something, if Jordan doesn't get kicked out of the league the Bulls win 8 in a row.

Jordan owned every single Celtics, he almost singlehandedly took down the Celtics without any help when he put up 63 on them in the play-offs. The Bulls guards went against KJ, Isaiah, Stockton, Mark Price, Magic etc while the Bulls bigs knock heads against Hakeem, Shaq, Ewing, Malone and they did just fine. Don't tell me Parrish is better than those 4, or at least Shaq, the Mailman and the Dream. You also forgot to mention the Bulls' Scott Williams and Horace Grant, Kukoc will NEVER be matched up against the Chief...

I thought it might be close but then saw Rodman. Guy would have 30 rebounds against the Heat frontcourt

Haha. Sorry Steve but you're way off based here. MJ would trash anyone all game on O and D. Pippen could easily guard Bird.

DJ owning Kerr? Lol. First off, Kerr is a bench player you're forgetting about Ron Harper who will lock anyone the fk down and get his on O. And how does anyone own Kerr? Most accurate 3 pt shooter of all time. Lethal, marksman. Once you double MJ! Bam! All day! That's like locking down Ray Allen. Impossible.

Pippen would also rake and dunk all over them just like he did Ewing.

Defensively it's not even close. MJ/Pip/Rodman/Harper. Like the fking dream team.

Then there's Rodman to deal with... Oh yeah and Kukoc, one of the best 6th man of all time.

... and it's not just Steve Kerr they have to worry with in the rainbow territory, all Bulls guards are great shooters.
BJ Armstrong, John Paxson and even the seldom used Craig Hodges can rain 3s on them all day, he ain't a 3-time 3 point shooting king for nothing...

MJ knew that he needs lot of help if he wants a ring, or rings, he didn't ask for the moon when it comes to his salary. He made sure the Bulls organization had enough money to surround him with talent to get him to the promised land. He marketed himself well, made $h!tloads
of money through endorsements instead. He's one smart cat...

Bulls much tougher. When NBA was a great product and wasn't so much of an individual game. Of course Jordan the games greatest ever and spot light always on him but he was much tougher than Lebron.

I am pretty convinced that Pippen was the LeBron of his era, (Not as dominant, but a very similar skill set) and I have no doubt in my mind that Pippen could put in some very good work on Bron Bron.

    96 bulls vs. 2012 Heat

    PG. Harper > Chalmers
SG. Jordan > Wade (by an insane margin)
SF. Pippen < LeBron (but not by as much as most think)
PF. Rodman > Any Heat bigman
    C. Longley could easily hold his own vs. any of the Heat's bigs.

    BENCH

    Toni Kukoc > Battier
    Kerr ~= 2012 Allen
Wennington and Bucheler < Haslem and Cole

    COACH

    Zen Master >>>>> LeBron's nanny

Bulls would run roughshod over the 2012 heat. LeBron doesn't have what it takes to compete at the level it would require to carry the heat over that bulls squad.

Bulls have 4 HoF'ers on that Roster (I'm including Phil). Heat have a sure fire 2 with a possible 3rd in Allen. (I'd put Allen in, but I haven't looked much into how deserving he is).

A fun thread. One correction: a moderately sane Rodman is >> any of Heat's big men. He would probably shut down Lebron pretty well on defense and outrebound their frontcourt singlehandedly. I mean how can you compare the Bosh/Haslem/Anderson rebounding poo-poo platter with the best rebounder of all times.

I'm not even sure if Lebron is better than Scottie Pippen.

Bronbron get so many ? calls from the refs that you can't even smell him or touch his body hair.
Back in the days, no blood, no foul. Scottie will make Bronbron cry like a baby and run to mama
when he smother him with his HOF defense, true story...

All they have to do is put Pippen on Lebron and if the game is called fairly he does enuf to shut him down. Same way he shut down Magic. With Jordan on the team the game might be called fairly. Take of Jordan, Pippen would have 4 fouls in the first quarter three of them phantom fouls. Kinda like they do with Hibbert now, so Lebron can drive in the lane.
