Brazil if it plays out relatively normally. Argentina if Messi is playing at his best.

Germany, Spain are the only other 2 "realistic" contenders, but I doubt it. The Cup is in South America, nobody is gonna come here and beat us on home soil. Has never happened in history, doubt it will now. I like Belgium but they're semi-finalists at best. Colombia is screwed now, Falcao won't be fit and if he is, he won't be in form.

Brazil playing Spain for 3rd is impossible I believe since those two groups cross over.

If they win their groups they dont crossover although Italy will meet Spain before semis so:
    Championship: Italy vs Germany
    Third:Brasil

Don't see Italy making it with a Rossi with a knee that is in pieces and Balotelli that is pissing away his career being bipolar.

Yeah, only threat there is Korea but Belgium should be able to handle winning that group i'd say.

Spain not a threat?? I'm not even explaining why that is incredibly wrong. Belgium has an exciting squad but how many players in that team have world cup playoffs experience?

This isn't a US sport so the refs aren't rigged.

    Brasil - Spain - Germany
The refs aren't rigged? Yea ok

It will be either Brazil or Argentina. No European team has ever won a World Cup in the Western Hemisphere.

Different climate might be a problem for some European countries. Hoping it will be Argentina, Brazil will have a very good team though. Doesn't matter to me anyway, won't be able to watch it.

    Dark horse: Ghana

Miss a penalty shot that would have send the black stars to semi's in 2010
This year team is even better

As strange as it sounds I think the home field advantage could be a detriment, if you remember wc 2010 when brazil played holland, when brazil were winning 1-0 the ref mistakenly called a ball out on brazil and the team just snapped, lost all focus holland went on to beat them 2-1, brazil couldnt handle the pressure add on the pressure of playing at home. When i look at their squad the only leaders I see are thiago silva, maicon and maybe ramires/oscar the other players dont have that sense of composure about them

absoulutely not and they have almost zero chance of advancing.

USA is by far the worst team in the group. I think they know their only chance is to try to get some draws b/c they know they cant actually win a game in this group.

best case scenario for USA is a loss vs Germany and a tie game against Ghana and Portugal.

I like USA a lot but unfortunately they're in Group of Death. I'm afraid it may be too much challenge for Yanks to beat German Panzers and Ronaldo's Gang.

Brazil will win it all this year. I'm betting Brazil to win outright 3/1, Brazil to reach Semi Final (-111), Brazil to reach Quarter Final (-200).

First, I was thinking about dutching Brazil, Spain and Germany (not giving any chance to Argentina), it pays -110 approx. But when we consider there isn't any european team in history won the world cup in any south america tournament, I think best option is to just pick Brazil..
