    Cibulkova vs Li Na - In Game Thread

    I'm on Cibulkova again. If you've watched both women throughout this tourney you'll know that she has been dominating her opponents while Li hasn't always looked impressive. Cibu is a strong, energetic player and when she's hitting her shots as she has been then I believe she's almost unbeatable. Not too concerned about her being overwhelmed by the occasion as Li isn't the most emotionally stable player as it is so I think that will balance out.

    If any of you have futures on Cibu, I'm JEALOUS!!

    I like Cibu as well. I will be hedging the hell out of my Li Na futures; cannot wait to get that line on 5d. I hope it will not come down too much.

    Just note that Cibu has a history of losing big leads: like 5-2, 4-1 or 4-0 in the final sets or while being up 1-0 against good players, like Serena, Aza, Woz. But she seems to be a changed player this year so let's hope she will not do that. Also, Li Na won her only Slam in a tight match against Schiavone, I think she was the fav in 2011. And she has already played in two Aussie Finals as a dog. So I do not see her not taking a set: Sharapova did. After hedging, I might put a little bit on Cibu ATS and/or on 2-1 or on 2+ sets, just for the heck of it.

    Couldn't agree more. +230 is a pretty crazy value on the player I think is also the correct side to win. I understand why the 2 time finalist #4 seed is such a big favourite, but anyone laying -250 in this matchup is getting gouged.

    Much as I love my girl Cibu and fortunate that she's made me some very nice money the last few months, I'm sticking to my conviction that Li will win this title. I made a future bet on Li earlier today at only -105 and everything is going as planned. She beat Bouchard so now I get a heavy -260 favorite for only -105.

    Both players are coming in at incredible form and both deserve to be in the final but I truly believe experience will play a major role in this match and Li's experience in slams will become a factor.

    Regardless of who you choose, best of luck everyone. It will be a great final.

    alright guys, time to get off the cibulkova bus.... Take a look at her last 3 big wins...

    sharapova= rusty/injured
    Halep= soft hitting/solid returner
    Radwanska=soft hittin excellent returner

    what do all these girls have in Comon???

    They all play the balls right back for in position for you to make a mistake... Congrats to cibulkova she's been smashing them home! What's my point?? Now she faces LI NA. This girl returns great and hammers home winners even better. She made Pennetta/Bouchard look stupid... Those girls like cibulkova have as much or more power. The cibulkova you guys have been seeing is a byproduct of soft tennis returners hoping for a mistake, that she used to always make.


    dont be suprised if LI NA gives her more of her own medicine and destroys her....

    I like Cibulkova here, very good value, Li is obviously more experienced in this situation and confidence will be high. Hard to pull the trigger either way but maybe just 25 on Cibulkova ML.

    Li Na's mentally tough?! As soon as she starts to get pushed in a match she looks like she's going to whip out a gun and shoot her husband in the face. She's a lunatic.

    I agree that she's been playing well but if she brings to Cibulkova what she did to the Bouchard match, Cibu's going to steam roll her (although I do think Li will step it up some). She's not going to like getting Cibu's power back at her as she relies on pushing people around the court. I think it's kind of crazy for someone to pass on this price on Cibulkova if they've watched each of the matches these two have played this fortnight.

    If Aggie could handle Azarenka she should've had no problems dealing with Cibulkova. If Cibu can handle Maria, she has a much better chance of winning against Li than the odds imply. I'm not trying to tell anyone to follow me and I already said earlier that I'm not going crazy betting on this one. But from what I've seen I'm very confident that she has a much better chance against Li than 30% and as a gambler I'd be foolish not to make this bet.

    Cibulkova for me. Good value and she's playing great. Li Na sleep walks in matches from time to time. Cibulkova can make her pay. Hopefully her serve will be on. Can say that with anyone really tho.
