Agreed. Really think the sharpest plays are those teams who you think have a shot to win getting points. One of the worst beats is betting a Fav and watch them celebrate a win but not cover the number.

Been keeping track of ML faves of the day -222 and lower since the opener of MLB last year.

    MLB 139-63 69%
    NCAAF 23-12 66%
    NFL 26-10 72%
    NHL to date 82-42 66%
    NBA to date 53-31 63%
    NCAAB to date 52-19 73%

Betting only the fave of the day since MLB, I've increased my bank roll 40 units. No martingale or labbies.
Only regular season, no play offs.

So, those of you who doubt betting the faves, should reconsider. -222 (1.45) is my minimum.

The most common misconception is you can't win wagering strictly on favourites, which is the furthest thing from the truth.

Amateurs become accustomed to attaching value strictly to dogs, which again, has absolutely no merit to it.

Squares bust out because of their volume, lack of knowledge, and their inability to determine value, not the fact they're investing in favourites.

I belong to Morrison and Allen's systems and got tired of losing C bets and my ass. I've kept years of daily odds print outs and noticed the favorite hit way above 50%. I threw out mountains of paper work and hours of handicapping. I decided to put my theory to the test.

If I would labby line, I'm sure the 40 units I won would've turned into 80 or more. Depends on your risk factor.

Everybody and their brother will tell you faves don't win over the long haul. Mostly because the books probably
told them that. The books know what they are doing, make them work for you. It's very simple, no capping.
Look at the odds, pick the lowest one (-222 min) and bet. Multiple games with the same odds? Bet them all.

Amateurs do not place value on just dogs they simply pick blind-folded out of a hat. Art of betting dogs is to find edges where public doesnt see them takes research n watching many games.
