Dallas Shouid Trade Romo To Get Manziel

Johnny makes Dallas tons of money and would be on tv almost every week win or lose

Would be Jerry's greatest move of all times

Manziel 10x more appeal than Romo

Johnny Football in Dallas makes sense

If he is picked Romo done in Dallas

Let's not kid ourselves here , Manziel makes Dallas America's team again.

They would instantly become my favorite team.

Jerry Jones would ruin Johnny's potential. Waste of talent in Dallas.

Romo is my favorite Cowboy Hope he has many years left in Dallas.

No way he drops to 17. Too many teams need QBs.

    Texans may Take Johnny #1.

I wonder if any NFL teams would give up a bunch of picks for Romo.

Dallas can get rid of romo. They have to eat some salary. As a bears fan I would take him over cutler anyday.

Right. Plus his age, being 34 in April, how many good years does he have left?

    This.

He has a lot to work on yet he will be drafted by a team that needs a QB right now and become rookie starter. He will be terrible in this scenario.

He can't do worse than Romo, so dump him for some draft picks and pay JM less. Hire Tebo to back up JM. At least Dallas games will be worth watching.

There are a couple of QB's in front of him. 17th might be about right. If they were to deal for him they need to keep Romo. Can't throw Johnny in there as a rookie.

I think the texans are gonna grab him. They need a qb way more than dallas. I mean its really no decision for the texans to get a new qb......shaub or manziel? Lol that's no decision at all. Now I'm not sure how well johnny footballs skill set will translate the nfl tho. That remains to be seen

Manziel is very exciting to watch, but he will get CRUSHED in the NFL when he actually faces lineman and linebackers who can keep up with him.

If someone like Terrell Suggs gets one good hit on Manziel and his small frame, Manziel will be done.

I would take Bridgewater over Manziel anyways and the Texans SHOULD take Bridgewater.

The Texans will most likely take Manziel though so that they can fill seats.

why don't people think he could succeed in the nfl?
if it's because he is smallish, he is not that short, and wilson and brees are smallish and they're good
the main thing is pocket awareness and ability to read defenses and improvise
    we'll see

I really don't think Johnny's financial impact will influence who the Texans draft at all. Texans sold out just about every game last year during a 14 game losing streak.

O'Brien will have most of the say as to what QB Houston is fielding next year.

Some make a strong case for Manziel over Bridgewater.

If Manziel goes anywhere in the top 3, he'll be one of, if not the biggest bust of all time.

Sure, he's athletically gifted, but the bullshit he pulls in college just doesn't work in the pros, he's one of the luckiest players I've ever seen step on the field.

Corners in the NFL are far superior to college corners, so chucking up a bunch of miracle jump ball Hail Marys won't work anymore.

He's not a pocket passer. What made him so successful in college is scrambling for 6-10 seconds waiting for coverage to break down, again, something that he won't be able to do in the pros.

IMO, this kid has just about no chance to be successful in the NFL.

GB couldn't save Hernandez if NE couldn't. My take in the Hernandez case is that he was in gang life so deep, it's amazing NE even took a chance on him. But I know what you mean about GB, I really love the Johnny Jolly comeback story this season, in prison for 6 months and out of the NFL for years due to drug suspensions, but played well this year he until ended up on IR.
