Lovie Smith new coach of Tampa Bay Bucs

Should have no problems with that D, need a new qb though and play maker on offense. Great fit for both parties IMO.

Tampa is stacked with talent evrrywhere on the roster, that team is ready to compete.

    Safeties
    Revis
    Great d line
    RB (Doug martin)
    Vincent jackson
    Good players on O line
    Some decent young backers

Teams good to go on paper anyhow. remember they made huge splashes last free agency

Tiquan Underwood is VERY underrated. Glennon isn't that bad of a QB either. I think they take Bridgewater if he somehow slips past Cleveland, Oakland and Jacksonville.

personally see 0 chance that happens considering all those teams need a qb.

5m/yr is top dollar for a coach, I believe.

Be interesting to see who they bring in as offensive coordinator.Tampa has a new gm too.

As I type this, got a tweet. Look for lovie to bring Jeff tedford as OC and Leslie Frazier as DC.

Great coach. Chicago was stupid to fire him. New guy screwed up their defense.

Lovie gets his team ready to play and always has a good defensive mind along with his own to be solid on that side of the ball.

Pretty poor with in-game adjustments and is a terrible clock/game manager.

He needs to have a great offensive mind and get out of his own way in order to be very successful.

You don't win superbowls by calling timeout, then challenging a play, and leaving your team with 1 timeout left midway thru the first quarter.... Which lovie did multiple times in Chicago.

Tampa has a chance to do what The Chiefs did this year next year IMO. They have some players there, that D will be raw next year. Look out!

Lol. So true. And hilarious. There have been many a "WTF" after ridiculously poor timeout calls during the Lovie era. Needed to go deep to the playmakers like Trestman is doing this year.

Lovie will either need to switch up his defensive philosophy or try and deal Revis. He will not embrace playing zone a majority of the time. Tillman ends up in Tampa and Revis in New England.

Not a big fan of Lovie but they could have done a lot worse.

    thats kind of racist man.

Mike Tomlin is black and he won a super bowl.

There are plenty of a great black coaches in pro sports.

Ron Wasnington , Dusty Baker, Bobby Bonds, and i am sure there are others i just cant think of any.
