And blew 6 of his last 7 in the process. If Rodgers was playing I doubt he have even won that game.

    Right. Because Rodgers plays defense.

I've heard some insiders say that the Lions really wanted Lovie Smith and were thrown for a loop when the Bucs snagged him so fast. Adam Schefter reported Tuesday he was high on their radar. I think they want a defensive guy and think they have their eyes now on Mike Zimmer.

Because the guy knows how to manage a game. Stafford couldnt manage a dairy queen.

Mike Zimmer for the Lions would be a good hire.

Stafford is turnover prone, Rodgers would have been licking his chops at the prospect.

I'd like to see Gruden get back to coaching again.

Gruden did a pretty good job with Oakland and Tampa Bay. Had a couple rough years as well, but he's got a very nice resume as Head Coach. He got fired for going 9-7 two years in a row with a division title and then the Bucs haven't sniffed the playoffs since he left.

That being said, I think he's content at ESPN for now. I think he's still a couple years from coming back. I think he wants that Cowboys or Giants job.
