Is anyone else in love with Rutgers today?

I think that's a lot of points they are not that bad

Weather is above average about 45° for the game

Notre Dame is always had trouble scoring a lot of points

I think what Rutgers got more healthier off the lay off

    Not a problem today.

Rutgers has lost 5 of their last 7 games - none of them within two TDs. Those 2 wins were over Temple and South Florida.

So it's ND vs. a team that shouldn't be in a bowl game in Yankee Stadium. This is an opportunity for Brian Kelly to mend relationships with alumni. ND must have pulled strings to get such a patsy for a bowl game, otherwise this matchup makes no sense.

I like ND to run it up. Rutgers had a few good games but they are a bad team. I don't think the Rutgers defense can get off the field, they get gassed and ND steamrolls them.

nah, ND has the pedigree... bigger players, more strength, more depth,
Rutgers is outclassed... blowout would surprise nobody.

ND's defense will shut Rutgers offense down.

I like the Irish -15 and Under 54.

A couple things that could make this interesting.

    1) RU will be excited as can be to be in this game, they were very fortunate to even make a bowl.

    2) I can't see where ND will be that excited to play this game, just a year ago most of these players were playing for a NC and now they're playing a 6-6 Rutgers team. Let down spot written all over it

    3) ND lost a few coordinators and have some key players banged up on both sides of the ball

ND will be able to expose RU's secondary in this game, but it won't be as easy as everyone thinks. If they let RU hang around ND plays like they normally do in bowl games this one could be interesting.

Plus Rutgers has an interim D_Coordinator, Joe Rossi. I did some research and he is a former DC himself at Maine before he went to Rutgers. I wish I knew what type of athletes Rutgers had because 15 is a good amount of points to get. I may watch the first half and then bet the second.

Don't get me wrong if ND is focused and ready to roll it could be a blowout, but with so many heartbreaking close losses for ND this year and a let down bowl compared to last year, I could see them kinda just sleep walking through this one. If they do that RU could hang around with having more intentions than just covering the number

The weather will be no problem, so there goes any chance Rutgers has of winning outright. 15 points is a lot, but the Irish want to make amends for a rather poor season.

I tend to agree. Rutgers is better then the +15 they are getting today. I think this will be within number heading into the forth and rutgers will look to eat the clock up verse running up the score.

Both teams have plenty of injuries so you are looking at backups in some positions. That being said who has the better depth? Rutgers ML? Come on man

This tells us all we need to know about the game.

No one should bet real money on Rutgers - when they lose they lose by a lot. Lots of controversy and quit in them.

I loaded up on ND -14.5. Too much probably, I'm looking too hard on how much Rutgers sucks.

More often than not, if you're getting a key number with the hook, there's a reason (i.e., +10.5, +14.5, +17.5, etc.) Typically a sucker bet.

With that being said, I don't know how you can lay that many points with ND and their suspect D either.
