I Hope The Bowl Games Get Better
The first week of bowl games has been terrible. Turnovers, missed FGs, coaching mistakes, star players hardly showing up. I know it's been mostly Non-BCS conference teams, but it's still bad football.
Minnesota and Syracuse look like the Texas gave them a pregame speech about how to suck at Reliant Stadium
Coaches are too conservative. Marshall coach was punting on 4th and inches from opponent 37
Yeah, that was a perfect example.
Look at NIU last night. Multitude of coaching mistakes, Lynch looked bad and NIU kicker was just slightly better then that kid from 'Bama.

All bowl games should be eliminated except for 10 games. Top 20 BCS teams get in and play a tournament. Last team standing is Champion. Seems very simple.

interesting. That helps explain why i havent done well so far. i've been on the public side in almost every game. If wagering is up 10X Vegas has to make sure they don't lose a bunch of money.
i hate to consider who the public is on and let that determine anything but sometimes its necessary in football
Well it can't get any worse these games are junk... the long layoffs make the games terrible... bad offense bad defense just ugly stuff... move the start of the season back a week or 2 to get a better product
Last year, 14 of the 20 most bet college football games of the year were Bowl games, including the top 8 most bet games of the season. In fact, the 2013 GoDaddy.com Bowl between Arkansas State and Kent State received more bets than the regular season games between Alabama/Georgia, USC/Stanford and South Carolina/LSU.
Makes sense. Lots of people in Vegas for holidays/new years creates high volume.

Terrible games so far though, time to get to the big boys now.
Syracuse played a solid game tonight. They stuck to their gameplan and proved they were a better team then advertised this season
Blindly betting unders in bowl games seem the way to go.
