How important is it to combine bookmakers? Is it an option to stick to 1 bookmaker?

I'm following a few good tippers here. I currently have a Unibet account which isnt giving me the odds I'd like. I'm thinking of moving over to Pinnacle, but will this do if I want to follow the tippers here? Or can the odds between Pinnacle vs "the bookmaker with best odd for the match" be a matter of profit or loss?

Yes but its going to be Pinny 80% of the time. If you go Pinny and 5Dimes you will get the best odds, have a large betting menu and be protected if one of the websites are down.

Definitely this. They don't always have the best odds, but the majority of the time, these 2 books are all you need. Throw in betfair and matchbook, and you're just about covered.

An even better combo is two locals (until they stiff you). Then you look for two more. Rinse. Repeat.

5dimes is a book that breaks the law

would you trust a criminal with your money? no

numerous complaints about 5dimes scamming/mistreating players

if going gets tough what do you think is more likely to happen? them actually paying the players before shutting down or disappearing with your money into the night?

even if 5dimes were trustworthy, they have a target on their back, one day the us gov might swoop in and shut them down, seize all funds and you are screwed

and dont trust sbr either, they have sold out to the books, they delete threads/posts that are unfavorable to their sponsors and they lie through their teeth to promote those sponsors even when they are a scam book like betislands

That's also one of the reasons I prefer locals. The stiff risk is always there no matter the book, and when you have them holding your money it's even worse. Not getting paid on bets you won sucks, but sending your own cash to someone just to see them disappear is worse.

IMO books registered in the uk are as safe as it can get with a sportsbook, they are properly regulated and if they screw you you have legit methods of recourse

anywere else and you are taking a huge and unecessary risk

i would also add that pinacle and sbobet are quite safe, they have built a reputation and you are banking on the fact that their reputation is worth more to them than the money they can make from robbing their customers

Feel better now SportsMushroom? Let it out...

He wants to play at shops with the best odds not some low limit UK dept store. Pinny, Bookmaker and just two that had guys popped in the last year or two. They aren't going anywhere. The Bookmaker.eu guy did 5 years in the pokey and they didnt miss a beat. So if you are going to paint a picture don't forget to use the brush.

JJ he did not ask about exchanges but yea, a Matchbook or Betfair is a nice addition.

oh im sorry, what i meant to say was 'hey op trust what sbr tells you, they are the player advocates, 5dimes is a solid book and has never fked anyone over'

i dont need to paint anything

99% of posters will agree with my comments, the rest are either affiliated to sbr somehow or have not been here long enough

yes 5dimes does have good prices, but as long as you have books like pinnalce and sbobet then you are all set, why take the risk with 5dimes? they are a book that the doj is probably looking to shut down, not to mention their track record of freerolling customers and their horrible customer service

the little value you may derive from them is all wiped out one hundred times over from the risk you are taking

if you must use 5dimes do so, but dont keep more money than you are comfortable loosing

and you talk about bookmaker. what about betislands? that can never happen to 5dimes right? thats what you were saying about betislands like a second before it disappeared with peoples funds. the owner of 5dimes, he's the original douchebag, he's the kind of guy that thinks player funds belond to him and would have no compunction about just disappearing with it

if my comments annoyed you then maybe you should try to be more honest with players and not try to lead them to the slaughterhouse just so that you can make some extra cash. what dishonest people dont realise is that, yes they can have a big score right now by dishonesty, but by being honest and good at your job will bring you a bigger score in the long run

Matchbook really is not an exchange like betfair

It's basically a fixed odds site with a few odds options

Click and bet not that different than Pinny

5 Dimes is an A+ book as is bookmaker and Heritage

Sbobet Asian handicaps get you very tight juice also
