Would you build a team around Carmello Anthony?

    Nope, I wouldn't offer him a contract.

He's an insanely talented scorer with zero willingness to do anything but get his shot up. No defense, no effort, no nothing but copious points on copious attempts.

Strange too, I never expected that to be his MO coming out of Cuse. He had a a lot of heart that year, now he is just a one dimensional player that defines the NBA mindset.

Absolutely not. He plays ZERO defense. You need someone that plays two ways.

I'd build around someone like Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge or even Roy Hibbert

Sure, he's a great scorer, top 5 in jersey sales. Surround him with another superstar and some defense BOOM you have a real team

He only shoots so much because there's noone else, you really trust JR smith with the ball?

Watched that guy for eight years when he was in Denver. He does not posses a heart of champion. The guy is a complementary player like Chris Bosh. While he can put up 30 points on any given night, he does do it when it matter like the playoffs. I would still like to see him return to Denver though.

Good comparison, guy is a Chris Bosh player. Good numbers at a glance but won't ever be your centerpiece.

NBA is all $$, some guys don't get it. Look at the Kobe contract..

Very rarely will a player like Duncan take a pay cut to stay relevant
