I don't see any other NFC team as a serious threat, the only other team with half a pulse is Carolina,. but I don't think they are ready yet.

Now that I think about it, Carolina +450 to win the NFC could be a good bet because you could guarantee a profit as long as they win their first playoff game, which if things go as they should would be at home vs. Philly. Only thing that would kill this strategy is a loss at Atlanta this week. Assuming Panthers beat Falcons, then they should beat Eagles and if they face Seattle, Seahawks probably won't be higher than -300 on ML. And if they face 49ers, scalp is super-golden.

Who says run game is best in freezing weather? I think it's just as good for passing game. I'm just talking the physiological effect that it has.

49ers won in Washington earlier this year 27-6. Last year 49ers won @NE 41-34. Both games were around freezing. If you are talking about truly below zero, it rarely happens, only twice in the past decade: CHI 20 GB17 in 2008 and NYG 23 GB 20 in the 2007 NFC title game.
