    stupid move by the books here. never had to set that at 1000-1 to bring in bets

    auburn has had top recruiting classes and just won a championship. yet they gave the odds they should have given to UNC and Oregon state. dumb

    doesnt seem like much considering they probably piled on the bammer, oregon, ohio state, etc bets

    14 seems like nothing....probably mostly $100 plays by alumni

    I'm sitting here thinking of some teams that could be major underdogs, but still make a run next year....

    If the odds are good enough I might put a small futures bet on the Florida Gators or Houston Texans.

    Can anyone else name some contenders next year that had a bad year this year?

    I took fsu 20/1 to start the season.

    1000/1 is nuts for a school like Auburn. They were terrible last season but the team wasn't devoid of talent.

    Books don't sweat futures. If there are 14 1000 to 1 futures on Auburn the book manager will hedge them by betting FSU at other books to limit exposure.
