out of his 84 hrs he hit the past 3 years 37 were on the road and 47 at home so not a drastic difference there

I think he's a good signing for that park. His last full season with the Yankees, 17 of his 43 homers were on the road. That's not bad.

as a met fan im happy with this move. alderson has been pointing till 2014 just because harvey got hurt and wont pitch this year i feel they should bring up montero and syndergaard and let them learn on the job this year and give us a glimpse of what our future is.

Mets sign Granderson 60 mil 4 years fuk me

4 years 60 mill dont you think we could have at least gotten one guy who could hit 280. 7 mill 1 year for a sub 200 avg Young 60 mill 4 years for a declining stat DL List Granderson who has hit 232 and 229 last 2 years. Didnt we just unload Jason Bay lets do it again. Sandy Alderson has shown his worth ZERO and the Wilpons should be in jail and out of Baseball

granderson was hurt last year on some freak hbp injuries. he is a leader in the clubhouse and he can handle new york. alderson has done zero? maybe you should look at our farm system before and after he got here

Actually like the signing. Even though he does strikeout a ton the way our outfield has been the past couple seasons anyone would be an improvement. He does have speed and hits home runs.

Yea we only have pitching on the farm I follow minor league more than anyone here. Montero is 100% ready to pitch MLB Syndergaard is raw but will be between Harvey and Wheeler great curve good FB 96/97 I watched him pitch vs Dunedin Jays last year here. He has no clue how to hold a runner on and cant field his position. He need work but his arm is ready. The Mets let the young pitchers dry out in the minors both of these arms could be MLB next yr but because the Mets pinch the almighty dollar you have no chance to see them until after June. We have no bats at all ...lets not forget we got Wheeler for Beltran and Syndergaard for Dicky it was costly but I wont complain about either.

Should have gone after Nelson Cruz Jr. as well.....4 years/$17 million a year would have done it. No they had to waste $7 million this year on Chris Young. Therefore they won't even consider Nelson Cruz Jr. anymore. Alderson still believes in the Duda/Ike platoon at 1B.

    What a moron.

no bats i cant disagree there i do like ey, murphy, wright, and granderson as a top 4 or you could put legares at 1 and move everyone down a slot for a top 5. biggest need imo is ss and 1st base

Chris young 200 Cok Davis 190 Granderson 220 ss who ever it is will struggle to hit 220 they want to trade Murphy (I guess because he is a 280 hitter) Duda 240 if he has a good year the kids in the OF Brown and Largres who know maybe 260 if they get to play Team avg 230 all the talk about dumping Davis the Mets are still listing him as a starter at 1b on the web site

i wouldnt trade murphy. we really need a 1st baseman and shortstop. i really believe if they throw the 2 pitchers into the fire this year in 2015 we would have a very good pitching staff with niese wheeler harvey montero and syngaard. i think the fan base would get excited bringing those guys up. would they take some lumps sure but we are going to anyway

he got hurt in August i thought. Even if he doesnt return until August that would be huge if he returned in August and helped the Mets make a playoff push.

With Granderson and Wright... that line-up aint bad.

Wheeler is a stud and Niese can be good too. Is Johan Santanna going to be ready to go this year?
